I'm seeing a lot of guesses for Mudflap being a Grapple remold and I really hope you're all wrong. They share no similarities in robot mode and only real.basic similarities in alt mode. I'd much rather see a new mold altogether for him. Get a Signal Lancer out of him to justify it.

    A couple of things:

    1. Earthrise is set in space? Who’s writing these stories? At this point, I fully believe that the WFC trilogy is supposed to have an overall interesting story/premise, but that story isn’t being represented all that well through the toys because Hasbro is too scared to try anything new and just wants to continue to slavishly cater to G1.

    2. While these Cyberverse figures don’t interest me, the deluxes have my full attention and I can’t wait until they’re released.

    3. Where the heck is Studio Series? I figured since Studio Series has been relegated to these international shows/conventions, they’d give us something. It’s such a shame that Studio Series seems to be getting he short end of the stick when it comes to these conventions.

Let’s hope they saved the Studio Series reveals for Paris CC tomorrow, if they haven’t shown up there yet.

Hasbro has basically managed to make a set of Cyberverse figures that look like they smashed together a Titan Changer, one of those AOE figures with the helmet on and make them look like a down grade from a normal Ultimate or Ultra Class in the process. I can see those being on clearance very quickly indeed. They also seem to be shifting the artistic look away from RID and towards Transformers Animated.

I prefered the armour up figures we got this year they look like nicer toys and have good articulation and a fun mix-and-match play pattern.

These ones are just an ugly looking simplified figure with a lump of clear plastic stuck on it.

Mercenaries faction is interesting. Hope for figures of fellas like Doubledealer (all but certain for the mystery Leader figure), Lockdown, and Sideways.
As the self-proclaimed #1 Sideways Fan, I must say that if we get a Generations update of Sideways and he isn’t Armada Sideways, I will personally walk to the house of Jonathan Hasbro and have the single worst display of grief ever witnessed by a single person.

Not feeling this Armada series toy line. Love the cartoon on Youtube but the toys look to simplistic, too prices and quality is not good. I hope Hasbro puts out more War for Cyberton toys.

That is being unfair to Armada sure some of the toys were lousy - but not all of them - those flippy chest Cyberverse toys have much less merit - well other than Scavenger - Armada Scavenger is lousy.

Three leader class Mercenaries? I wouldn't be so hopeful- Mercenaries isn't described as a new line unto itself, but rather a new "faction" within Earth Rise. Given what we've seen of the Earth Rise figures so far, including a leader class (a new G1 Optimus with trailer), it's doubtful how many of these guys will get figures.
The Mercenaries depicted in the card game (linked in this news) include characters like Detritus- an obvious Siege Hound repaint. Seems a likely Generations Selects figure, or exclusive.

I can’t find it... but when it was announced, one of the Hasbro guys said we’d be seeing them in Earthrise and the cards would be their debut.
I still can’t believe Doubledealer isn’t in the initial outing. I really hope he’s the leader Catz was talking about and not Octane.
I also hope Armada Wheeljack comes out as a Selects.

Though I have absolutely no idea what their alts could be, I'm really diggin' the different bot styles. And we're getting an axe.

It looks like the gold trophy versions are going to be new characters.

And I see what looks to be a corn on the cob Botbot in that clear bubble, as well as maybe a Smore. That's fantastic.

You know, I'm glad that Clobber has finally got toy. However, unlike Lugnut, who is a bomber, Clobber is actually a futuristic tank. Clobber's vehicle mode, despite being a tank, actually has wings on its sides, as well, as claws in the front. Just what kind of a tank is she? And is Clobber the first Transformer to have this alt-mode?
