I've noticed a lot of Chinese sellers doing that, I'd quite like to know why too...

    Ebay:

yeah... then They will really have to prove it to me for a bit before I consider a purchase. I will watch the account, but they seem to only have a few items anyways. I kinda hold a grudge. Regular retailers that screw people over don't get my business ever again.

I didn't say I trusted them, just that they were apparently hacked ;)

They will definitely have to build up the trust I used to have in them again before I'll go near them with a ten foot greasy barge pole! :p

Gotta admit, eBay is quick on these refunds.

I ordered an NBF Overlord (KO OS Iron Factory Evil Lord) from shwi790 at the beginning of this month. The tracking number states that it was returned on October 12th and has not updated since then. I messaged shwi790 about this and they told me that they’ll resend it once it arrives back. I asked them again a few days later, and they said that they shipped it out again, but there’s no tracking number this time. Fingers crossed that they didn’t turn bad.

I called Paypal on past days to request to have my currency changed. I handle myself with us dollars in my country (Panama) and yet they invented some PAB currency that doesnt exists and start charging all of my payments in such currency (Netflix, WWE network, ebay purchases) having me paying a conversion fee that I never had in the past.

On a different note I always wonder myself why a seller with 5000 + feedback turns scammer? With all the work you need to put in place to achieve a 5000 positive feedback account, and to scams how much $$$ in return? I dont see it as a good investment plan.

Yeah, the change in policy over the summer regarding live foreign exchange sucks now. I've pretty much stopped buying stuff off of eBay except for a few things from Baba that he hasn't listed on their own web site.

This x100. Between all the scam listings, this new fx transaction policy, the seeming abolishment of flash sales, and the new state sales tax collection, eBay is mostly dead to me as a marketplace, except for really hard to find items or ridiculous bargains. I am an incorrigible deal hound so I will still look, but the bar for getting me to pull the trigger has moved much higher.

Don't know of an example of a seller with 5000+ feedback turning scammer. I don't know that I can really recall more than one even hitting 2000 and scamming. liujunling87_5 still being unconfirmed, the only close example I recall was zpdlna802 had 2630 when all was said and done.

Also worth noting, zpdlna802 still has an active account with 99% positive feedback. It actually looks fairly similar to liujunling87_5's where all the last negative feedback were removed due to an allegedly hacked account.

Nope. Ebay removed the item listing for the item I purchased and the tracking number liujunling87_5, the scammer, or whoever uploaded to eBay shows as having an undeliverable address. So... why doesn’t eBay just refund peeps once they remove the listing and see the item is undeliverable and has not been delivered. Also if eBay feels the account for liujunling87_5 was hacked, why not instantly refund buyers who bought during that time? Why is it our responsibility (the offended party) to fight to get our money back? Insanity.

This is where I'm at with my case for FT-10 from scum (I mean eBay seller) xialeyulo9...

    upload_2019-10-27_10-53-18.png

I was wondering, do they start off with this 'business model' in mind or just say one day 'f*** it' and steal as much money as they can?

Should I be calling PayPal customer services to speed this along? Anyone have the UK number to hand, ta.

I received my refund from Paypal against xialeyulo9. Not surprised, but the seller didn't respond to the claim within the 10 days Paypal gives them. If you are on or past the 10 days, I'd call and have it finalized so its done. Paypal has been kinda annoying with sticking with the extreme lately, I was told I have wait 29 more minutes because they deal up to the exact time, (I think because they have been flooded with refunds with the uptick in scams and are hoping some people will forget.) So I called back in 30 minutes, just cause i didnt feel like hanging on hold, and was I refunded.

I'm too lazy to search (at least I'm honest about it :p ), so has anybody had any recent transactions with one*day_bid?

*edit* Did a search anyway, got no results, question still stands!

Sounds like people have gotten what they ordered but sometimes it’s been opened instead of sealed new? I remember that happened to someone with a dinobot I think. But generally they seem to come through, although I haven’t bought anything from them.

I finally got my refund for TE-01 from ABCTOYSHOP123, holy crap, remember 30 pages back when we were talking about that guy?

I filed with PayPal, he argued it and gave them shipping info, Then I got my little Lego packet and it restarted the process. They gave him a chance to reply to my nothing packet and got to wait 10 more days. I think I started it at the end of Aug and finally got it closed by the end of Oct. He was a fighter!

Yeah, their feedback doesn't seem too alarming...

Thanks, may be worth a shot then :D
