wow Fantoys finally made me want one of there products for the second time. (Phoenix being the first) astrotrain looks really good and that is the best Legends scaled Fortmax i have ever seen kudos to you Fantoys (just to bad i still cant afford any of it LOL). I do hope fortmax sells well enough that they will invest in the other citybots. I wont ever be able to purchase any of them but they still make great eye candy.

Okay, so that NotRampage having a crab mode is one hell of a trick.

If they all have second beast modes that's kinda neat.

 

A week and a half to two weeks ago I was joking on Facebook "Just for fantasizing, FT to show Skullcruncher in color and then reveal a Scorponok to finish the first wave of Decepticon Headmasters". Clearly Thomas has been fasttracked so we got him instead of Skullcruncher, but I never dreamed of being that close to right about Scorponok.

It will be more expensive than ordering through say Taobao, but my plan is to order from The Chosen Prime (I assume others have similar options, but I've never explored them) as soon as preoders go up and then pay $100 a month until it is paid off. I can afford that much, but you could probably do less if they put up preorders early enough. That is how I ended up doing Haslab Unicron, I'm paying more by ordering elsewhere, but I am doing it at $100 a month.

Personally I would want Brave Maximus more (I really like the colors), but he isn't G1 so I have no idea how likely they are to consider it. I will definitely mention it to dalianjj though. It probably costs too much to have one of these custom repainted unfortunately.

 

The crab is the Predaking combined mode hands. They just did that for the hands to have something to do in non-combined mode and it homages BW Razorclaw and Rampage who were both crabs.

 

I mean, that's not nothing. In a post CW Era you can kinda play it off as a 6th member.

 

Any thoughts for Sunday surprises?

Maybe MMC wheels out some Ocular Max Autobot cassette prototypes? They were conspicuously absent from both display and slide deck.

I agree, I just wanted to reduce people getting their hopes up expecting Rampage to be a triple changer (quad if you count arm mode) when he isn't.

I should’ve qualified that and suggested that they were your designs in collaboration with some partners. I’ll certainly be buying many of them, maybe even the whole lot, especially since Iron Factory is giving no hint as to whether they’ll produce some buddies to accompany their Wavey 2.0.

Also, if you don’t mind my asking, do you have any plans to do any of the combining cassette bots and cons? And, while I’m at it... the Armada Weapon Minicons!?

I know lots of people treat it like an mp but that FT fort max looks perfect with the legends figures as well. 

 

Maketoys shows up after all, but instead of any actual product they just bring a sign with their logo and "We're not dead yet, promise".
