I tried contacting the credit card company months ago. They said it would have had to been done within X days of the original transaction(I forget the amount, either 45 or 120, I can't remember.) Which would have been well before any factory issues happened. So they said there was nothing they could do.

So bottom line... Spence was in charge of website issues, website is now down/dead, emails to the domain bounce. It's way too far gone for seek credit card refunds for purple bikes (mine was further complicated by having been paypal in the middle). I should have followed my instincts earlier this year, but my faith in humanity prevailed.

So other than a big ol' "sorry" - what can you suggest as a course of action?

look i think we can all agree @CZ Hazard did a great job with what he was in charge of when it comes to MM....and that spence is the one that ruined everything.

he did some podcast that made him look worse...on it he said he was done with this site. he's long since tucked his tail between his legs and ran away. he's off running MAAS toys into the ground

 

And here I thought that MAAS Toys was already run into the ground.  

 

well pretty much...all they released was skiff and a crushed idw pipes and....pretty much nothing else.

on the same podcast he said they scrapped and restarted designs on that crowdfunded tetra jets mess saying they're working on it with no idea about a release date. i haven't heard anything since and i'm not following it since i'd never give spence my money.

@Calabask might know things. he was good at calling out spence's bullshit

 

His last posts are on page 159 of this thread, he was last active back in mid-March of this year, and for some reason it does not seem possible to tag him in posts. Here's his account page for reference, since it is harder to find when you can't @ tag someone.

 

Spence, I believe, is probably waiting for people to forget, but I don't think there's a company gullible enough to believe him any more. He's burned a lot of bridges in the Third Party world by scamming people and companies. I don't know what's going on with MT these days, I believe they are still operating, but I know some of the issues they had with Cross Dimension was due to Spencer Shennanigans. Let's just hope he doesn't rear his head again. If he does, I'll be sure to smash it with a hammer.

So what happened with this stuff. Seems it all imploded. They had some cool designs? Was Cassy Sark or Casey Stark or Cassy ? Involved with this. I don't know how to spell the name. That Casey person had cool designs also and he doesn't seem to post on Facebook anymore

Yeah, Cassy Sark is the designer of the UB toy. (CZ Hazard largely handled the story/comic and Spence was the business guy.) He's designed a number of CAD models for other figures in the UB line, and I think there was a prototype of the Yamazuki drone that was intended to be the next Kickstarted project, but the original toy is the only model (three colour variants) that made it to retail aside from a standalone rider pack, a weapons pack and a bonus heads pack for customisation.

 

Rest assured, Spencer screwed over every one he had dealing with, including me.
