With announcement of this new mercenary faction i think this means we might get at a new deluxe lockdown and deadlock

 

I'm betting Drift will show up in this line as a mercenary. It feels fitting since that old Generations figure, while good, came out 9 years ago with no major updates since.

The botbots stuff looks really good along with the news of a mercenary faction.

 

So earthrise is taking place in space and everyone has earth car modes? Thats wwe logic. So all this talk of a doubledealer leader and i thought the rumor was an armored car charecter that hasnt been done by 3p? Is this the same?

 

So they're pulling an early Armada and using space bridges left and right?

 

You'd think that being in space would be justification enough to keep the cybertronian modes on the toys.

Why would they do a generations version of movie Sideways, when they can't even be bothered to do a movie version of movie Sideways in the studio series line?
Also, what part of his like 10 seconds on screen suggested that he had any changes in allegiance? I wouldn't worry too much about that happening.

 

Since the addition faction came from the card game and there is a blue truck not covered by 3p that is not who you think it is, in that lot of cards I’d say you have to throw mud flap into that pool of possibility.

I wouldn't mind a Deaths Head in this new faction! I know he doesnt traditionally transform, but neither did nightbird in the G1 cartoon. (Plus i like robots that change into things, it kinda why i got into this franchise)

 

Doubt Death's Head will make an appearance anytime soon. Weird rights issues

 

Mercenaries aren’t new news. We found out from the card game and were told they’d play a role next year in Earthrise. It just fueled the Doubledealer speculation. Unfortunately it’ll probably end up Octane.

Do the cards and toys have any solid relation like that? I know the card waves are based on the toys, but I don't think it was necessarily fair to predict the toyline off the cards.

 

Shoot. Well ill hold out hope that maybe the can give him a quick name change (Murder face lol!) And change up his design just enought to get him out there.
I basically want exactly what they did with nightbird with him (well maybe plus a new sculpt and a wider release)
