I have a feeling the gumball machine pack is just going to be another version of the arcade renegades where you can only find it on amazon, and they'll be 6 boxes but only one will have all the figures

I want the gold rock and the gold cupcake (which makes me think more of a golden turd) but I'm fully prepared to accept that I won't get any of those...

I really wish we knew the availability on these gold guys. As a completionist, not knowing anything until someone leaks info is the worst. I wish Hasbro were better at communication. I do recall they have openings in their marketing team.

 

To be fair, most info on BotBots availability has come from us, the fans. Knowing which packs to buy, what codes to look out for, sightings of BotBots in far-flung parts of the world, etc...

This thread is way better than any resource Hasbro could offer. We got through the first three waves on our own, working together. For me, it’s all part of the fun.

TL;DR: Don’t sweat it. Info will be forthcoming, just subscribe to this thread if you haven’t already. The fandom has your back.

Might have missed it but any information on the lawn league 8 packs?

 

Okay, so let me get this straight.
Hasbro says nothing about the new tribes we already know are coming in the next few months. No pics, no names, nothing. Nothing about the Lawn League packs.
BUT they do say "Hey, we're putting in rare gold ones! Now you might have to spend a fortune to be a completist!"
And that's it?
I think somebody in your marketing team WANTS Botbots to die, Hasbro. Might wanna get on that.

For me, that's gonna be the dealbreaker or not. If we're talking still non-random cases/packs and some of them are just gold, I'll still be a completionist.
If only the gold ones are "chase" (i.e. less than one of each per case or totally random) and all the new characters and new molds are still like normal, I'll just be a completionist on anything that's not gold, and if I get the gold ones, hey cool, but I'm not paying a premium to get all of them especially since they're all presumably redecoes.
If there are no longer solid-packed cases but everything is completely random, then I think I'm quite possibly out.

That's fair. I'll still be getting them all so I sure hope they don't do totally blind packed figures. And I really hope they don't do chase figures. That would pretty much crush my interest in the line completely. Well, not so much my interest as make me realize that collecting them wasn't fun anymore. I've had that realization with Robot Spirits and Lego already so hopefully this line doesn't follow the same ugly trend.

 

Didn't see this posted yet. Really don't want to collect seven different identical packs to get a gold one.

 

Betting these packs will have numbers on them somewhere - but I see 8 golden lagoon botbots, and the packages claim to have "1 in each pack".

Gunna have to buy all 8 packs to get all 8 lagoons.

Hopefully these are just the 2020 equivalent to the Lost Bots, which were also one per multipack.
