Omega is a base for any Autobots you have, probably the best Titan out of all of them in base mode, while Predaking is like the "almost titan class" Devastator, unless you get the 3rd party resized (downscaled) version, he doesn't fit in with any other combiner. From everything I've seen for Predaking, he lacks a fair amount of details and not even in the same league as Omega. If you only have room for one of them, won't splitting Predaking means that you'd need space for 5 figures to display him/them when not combined? Omega in base mode, you can display with a lot of other TF all over the base. Edit: as others pointed out something I missed, you (OP) are talking about G1 versions. So that cleared up, I still stick with my choice... G1 Omega is one of the most fun figures to have, the base mode still works out, the tank is actually motorized and in robot mode, he actually walks. I HATE that someone "borrowed and never returned" (stole) mine, he was one of my favourites. For Predaking, I played a few times with one, just very large and bulky, but the individual bots are blocks. Sure he's nice, and I considered him a few times, but I always found that he just doesn't fit in that well, as he's outside the size and type of the other combiners.
I have Predaking. I really like him, but I’d choose Omega Supreme. The Predacons are alright individually, just like the Constructicons (I have the UW version)... but you get a similar feeling of hollowness and there are small details that could’ve made each of the figures much better. I don’t have OS yet, but he looks less hollow. I think both would look display impressively, though. But, OS looks more fun.
Well,.........Iiiiiiiffffff you can afford them BOTH then I'd say do it. Just think about this that BOTH would look good together and that once you buy both then your good. So owning BOTH would allow you to possibly move on too ANOTHER figure your chopping at the bit to get. I look at it that you only live once and that its a dream to own both and it would totally make you more happier than you could possibly imagine.
Hahaha, people think you are talking about the new Titan Omega and Predaking, and not their G1 counterpart. If you are referring to the G1 figures, Id go with Predaking.
As someone who owns both, I have to go with Omega Supreme. ESPECIALLY if you can find one that still has working electronics. Having that large bastard walking across the floor to you is just so much fun.
While I love G1 OS, if you can only get one, I'd say go for Predaking. As a combiner, he's awkward and cumbersome, but you get the added feature of having 5 individual figures that are all pretty good in and of themselves.
I had them both when I was a kid. Omega was a garage sale find though so missing some pieces. Predaking is my favorite combiner, but I'd still have to say G1 Omega is the better toy(imo).
Be more decisive, don't let others dictate your decisions, or at least give us an idea of why you like/want each.
i've had omega for, what, 34 years, and 3/5ths of predaking (no tiger or bull/buffalo) for a little less time. personally i'd go with omega, but there's no real reason beyond personal preference. omega is one of my favorites of all time right up there with jetfire. i wouldnt base the decision on the electronics even if they work. yeah its neat to see omega walk or the tank run around the track, but its nothing to hold attention more than a few minutes, if that. hopefullly i get both newer versions for Christmas this year but i definitely hope more for omega. just sayin.
