Can we please stop using this? It's a non-transforming prototype.
It is not representative of the toys proper.

Well the actual Devastator barely looks like the prototype shown in that pic. Let's see how he looks in the renders and when he's actually correctly transformed.

I’m just disappointed that the wiring draped over Hightower’s crane trusses doesn’t appear to be happening anymore.

Two things I found amusing about that horrible display. Rampage\'s stand they just like \"stuck\" under his foot like they didn\'t know what to do with the part so they just put it there. Granted I havn\'t tried myself but I don\'t think it really stays in place that way. Also Highttower\'s \"hook\" that should go on his robot mode head and act as a \"thumb\" appears to be missing. Probably got lost while moving or transforming it with how loose it is anyways.

It never was, as has been posted about once per page since this news broke, that is a non-transforming proof of concept.

Well, looks like Overload's combiner mode is his robot mode upside down.

Shame that they don't seem to be doing the crab-leg design, but them's the breaks

Mmm, but it proves 2 things, that it can support its weight and that it can be messed around to create a more humanoid posture, maybe people with enough imagination can make him look even more humanoid, maybe extending scavenger arms or something and making them insted look like extended sides of the torso and only rely on the yellow bots for the arms...just... throwing random ideas, nevermind

To those complaining about his posture and posing: look at the size of that case. Now look at what stage of the game Scrapper's in. I very highly doubt he would be able to fit in that case hunched over and super wide both ways. I also very highly doubt Scrapper could support the weight in such a position while still being a test shot.

Another note: it seems Demolishor's wheel/grinder thing is mistransformed so as to help support him in the case. We know what Hasbro is capable of when it comes to displays, and since this guy is still technically in a "proof of concept" phase with Overload and Scrapper, I very highly doubt pose and presentation is the first thing on their minds past filling the needs of simply showing off where they're at so far.

Yeah, Rampage's stand pegs into the treads in a "T" shape. There's nothing holding it in place if it's in a "X" position.

I guess one positive about this is it demonstrates that (if you wanted to) you can pose Devastator standing in a humanoid-ish configuration to make an already gigantic figure look even larger. Reminds me of this, haha

This was maybe a bad call. It's a design that's meant to be niches over, and the red of overload will blend in with scavenger. Showing him off like this seems to be an odd call, but I'm sure we will get a render at the panel which will look better

This world wide toy company is SO effin bad at setting up thier own toys, they are totally killin my boner for Devestator.

what does the job ap look like for Hasbro reps?

Now Hiring!! Hasbro rep/Creative display teams-
must possess strong skills in totally F^%$ing up world wide press catching product displays at multi national, world class events, and be able to do this consistently at every opportunity new product is photographed anytime new products are shown. The right candidate will also have ZERO creativity so they will not be able to look at something and say to themselves, "hey that's Garbage maybe I can mess around with it until it looks kEWL.."

so since devastator has a model number he might have a box set? i saw someone brought that up and if that does end up happening that's probably how we'd get those extra bits and skipjack

Overload looks to be a wide chunky boi
And yeah, they shot themselves in the foot a bit showing off a prototype that looked much better than this ever could. That was a mistake. Hopefully the posture can be adjusted.
