It is not. You can only infer it from the shipping cost. :)

Oh ok. I see what you mean.

I purchased an usb arcade stick controller and the postage, consolidated, was $10. Using the flat rate shipping calculated at check out, it would cost $30. Ouch! Yeah, I won't be using that option very often! Thanks for explaining it though, much appreciated. I will continue to look at this option when shipping larger things though, in hope they under estimate the postage cost.

That's hilarious. Sea shipping takes 3 to 4 times as long AND costs more... I'm sure it's only because it was a small package. But it still made me laugh.

So the first option is the usual warehouse consolidation option
The second is a shipping option direct from the seller to us - I'm not sure if it bypasses the TB warehouse or not - my guess is that it hits the warehouse then just automatically ships onwards and skips the storage and consolidation option?
And the third is using the warehouse consolidation but sending by slow sea shipping.
    Is that all sounding correct?

The first line "the calculation of freight required by the merchant to the transfer warehouse, please refer to the store information of the following party" - That's basically just telling us that the cost of shipping from seller to warehouse is whatever is written in the sellers listing same as before?

I would have to assume that the cheaper cost for air is for the first weight increment, but the price ratchets up a lot more per subsequent kg - and the sea shipping option has a lower per kilo charge for heavier items - so big bulky things would cost less to send by sea.
Things like Lewin Prime, MP Omega Supremes, even Zeta Torso bots can be pretty hefty and the shipping adds up quick. They're still a lot cheaper than any other store but it will be nice to have the option to save a few bucks more and ship them via slow boat if desired.

I'm just waiting on FT Blurr to arrive or the first MT Conehead to drop before I make my next purchase and ship. I'm very curious to see how these options appear, especially given my account already seems to have defaulted to the third, slowboat option.

    Yes.

    Yes.

    澳大利亚/新西兰官方物流价格及材积限制

Consolidate = 65/21 (65 yuan for first kg, 21 yuan every 500 grams after.)
    Direct = 65/21
    Self-collect = 49/18.5

Sea shipping: 66 yuan for first 500 grams and 6 yuan every 500 grams after, up to 20 kg.

For small packages, it is usually same (since minimum is 1 kg) or higher! The savings is when larger stuff are under-weighed.

Only at the forwarding order info page after you put down the order, but like nhyone said above you can guess from shipping fee they quote you at checkout.

11.11 is coming. Two things to watch out for.

First, price increase! If so, it is already too late to buy. (Discounts are only available nearer to 11.11.)

Second, weigh any cost "savings" against delays and crushed or lost parcels.

I try to avoid 11.11, but if you got to buy, you got to buy.

What do you mean by price increase? Sellers increase price intentionally before discounts kicking in.

I am waiting for FT Jabber, two TFcon MMC exclusives and maybe XTB Aegis to ship and hopefully can avoid 11.11. But as you say, if you have to buy, I have to buy.

I asked again since there is no update and he said next Wednesday. Take it or leave it.

Btw, if you have pre-ordered vehicle voltron on Taobao, sellers are starting to ask for balance.

I thought Taobao sellers had discounted prices for items on sale for 11.11.

I'm thinking about PO'ing XTB Aegis v2 and XTB Deathwish G2 but is the price discount on Taobao enough to make it worth it or should I get them from Baba's website?

I've never really seen many discounts on figures during 11.11. Maybe because I'm too specific and don't spend a lot of time shopping around.

Perhaps, as we see specials let's post them here for all to benefit?

Usually they have discounted prices and also some stores like LBP have $20 off every $200 spent

If you are buying/shipping them individually, you probably won't save much compared to Baba's website. I usually buy those type of bots when we have quite a few packages to ship to leverage the shipping cost.

Don't packages get destroyed or lost more easily if we order on that day?

I may be lucky but my packages were all intact and I experienced minimum delay in shipping time over last 11.11.

Argh, maybe I should have held off buying DX9 D12. I saw it increased in price in LBP, so I thought it was due to 11.11.

Well, just shop around and see if anyone else has any vouchers for now. Some people do at the moment, but not the $20 per $200 from what I've seen. It's how I got my Bruticon though, $40 off was a good steal

Most of the sales activity is on tmall (Where things are more pricey by default), it might be the best time to buy from the official Hasbro China shop 变形金刚玩具旗舰店

Most of Taobao shops have the same "X rmb off Y rmb" vouchers all year round...

Yes, but not 'every', which is very handy for expensive items.

I once saw a DX9 D12 seller with 20 off every 200 yuan, but I didn't bite then. Would have saved me 60 yuan (US$8.50).

Anyway, I have finally received my DX9 D12 Gabriel. Warehouse measured it at 32 x 48 x 79 cm (volumetric weight 20.224 kg).

    Actual package dimension is 32 x 48 x 75 cm (19.2 kg).

But Gabriel box itself is "only" 28 x 45 x 66 cm (13.86 kg). Sum of 3 sides = 139cm. So it can be shipped by air if packed tightly. It would be very expensive, though.

In fact, I'll say it can be just bubble-wrapped and shipped as-is. I have parcels shipped this way and arrived none for the worse. (I was quite surprised the warehouse accepted them.)

Hopefully not so soon. I don't want to be locked in with so many unknowns.

If Terminus Giganticus is any guide, it might be a slow seller...
