    It's definitely more show-accurate than Arkose and it's probably more solid but IDK if I actually think it looks better objectively. Arkose's vehicle mode looks WAY better and the robot mode looks better in certain ways, notwithstanding being less show-accurate. Since I'm not a huge fan of the character, I don't know if the improvement is enough to make me trade up. Maybe though

    I know this is an early rendition but he seems to lack that Fantoys flare even for a G1 accurate toy. Maybe some clear plastics...

    Yeah I'm with you. It looks good. Very good. I'm just not sure I prefer it over Arkose.

    One thing's for sure, it looks 100x better than the first proto shots as it's lost the barrel chest but I'm not sold on where the ab crunch is. That Warpath though. Pure win.

    I think FT Dunerider crushes Arkose. And I liked Arkose until I had him in hand. The reverse bending deer/dog legs at the knee joint in bot mode are a huge turn off. Not the most stable to with pose either. The way the back bumper attaches in alt buggy mode was janky AF. I didn't like the thin plastic roll cage and the M50 machine gun for bot mode was another WTF idea.

    I hope they paint that engine or something, because it looks a bit bland back there in alt mode :-/

    I hope they paint beachcomber's engine or something, it's looking bland back there in alt mode :-/

    The Spindrift 2.0 prototype reminds me of the XTB/KFC prototypes with different color plastics for tolerances. Definitely looks to be very close to complete.

    Nice bot mode. Very nice. For a non-realistic looking vehicle the alt mode looks good. Specially the wheels.
