Magnus doesn't need a missplaced wheel he just needs a gap filler (perhaps moulded as a rocket box on the reverse side) there is a 5mm hole under there to mount it on too.

Wasn't someone making more accurate leg guns for Siege Galaxy Optimus? They would go nicely with this set.

 

I want to like the Magnus upgrade, but the knee placement seems entirely too high.

 

I dont get it. If his leg is longer, shouldnt their trailer be out of place? (More to the back in placement, the top shouldnt touch the cab) if you see rachet studio's thigh extension, the trailer cannot reach the cab.
Someone have insight on this?

Annnnnd just like that, I am totally down for this kit. I'm not even mad with Ultra Magnus's height at all, but it has dawned on me that the legs are just a bit too stumpy. Not a deal breaker, but a cheap, seemingly easy to install upgrade kit that comes with melee weapons? That's hard to pass up.

 

Be prepared for delays on the kit then. I figured DNA wouldn’t be making any changes given that they had colored images already.

It’s renewed my interest in the kit, but to be honest I think this constant changing of designs so far into development is what causes the QC issues people always complain about in they’re products. Hastily redesigned parts that probably don’t get proper testing because production is likely rushed and corners are cut once they finally get a new slot at that factory.

I appreciate that this company actually listens to customer criticisms, but I just know something is likely to go wrong somewhere.

The legs guns look cool, but I’d rather have a filler set that includes thigh extenders.

 

The proportions look much better now and I'm definitely in for a Prime set as long as your quality control turns out good. I'd love to see even more Siege upgrade kits from you guys!

 

I was already getting a set for galaxy prime, as I had decided having long shins was just accurate to the character. But now I am considering the magnus set as well.

To put things in perspective, this set allows you to...

Have the legs fully collapsed, like stock, for both robot modes.
Have the legs extended for both modes, but you now have a pretty extreme amount of knee bend thanks to being able to bend both knee's at once.

Then in vehicle mode you can have two wheels in the front, one in the back, like galaxy convoy had. Or one in the front and two in the back like on RID magnus.

Plus I like how the hammer and axe stow away perfectly in the cannons on galaxy prime. So while he doesnt have his cyber key gimmick, he does have something to replace it.  

The hammer and axe on magnus isnt as nicely implimented... but they didnt have much to work with... and now I feel the legs are still worth it along.

 

Not sure what's this upgrade for.

So the deal with this particular upgrade kit(s) is that it gives Magnus and Galaxy Force Optimus double-jointed knees?

Or it makes the legs look less stumpy?
