    They made Soundwave especially thicc this time around. He still looks cool, but it’s a departure for sure

    Ebay:
    It\'s a terrific representation, and it\'s certainly the best movie Prime, but it\'s still a bit over-designed for my tastes. Smooth a few greebles out (the faceplate is a bit finicky) and it\'d be terrific. Can\'t fault the figure though, it\'s bang on to the source material, and in some of those shots it could be lifted directly from the film. I wish they\'d started the movie designs with this.

    I definitely think that it isn’t under-designed. If it had any more surface detail I’d freak. But I think we’ve also seen very little of this Prime in general. If he appears again I think those opinions may show more.

    Seeing how accurate this figure is to the film really gives credit to the cgi work on optimus. He looks so real and tangible in the film that if I had no prior knowledge I could not tell what was real and what is CG.

    If this design doesn\'t get the MP treatment it would be such a wasted opportunity. Right now this my favorite aesthetic for Prime.

    The only reason I'm not jumping on this one is the fact that it says "bumblebee" on the stand. Call me crazy but my "OCD" won't allow me to fully enjoy this figure knowing it came from a Bumblebee-focused movie instead of a full-on Transformers one.

    It could be an option but this is more about the idea of him having so little screen time in a movie that could've been so much more.

    i'm in the same boat, but i've been at a point where designs n toys come before media for years now so once i rub the bumblebee logo off the stand i'll be fine.

    this isn't "bumblebee" optimus prime to me. this design is just... optimus prime. it's a realistic version of g1 prime n that's all i need.

    Yeah, but I mean just buy it cause you like the toy. If you start connecting stuff to things you like it gets complicated.
