Ironhide is cheap now cause he had issues and people found him disappointing (not me but some). Barricade became cheap cause he’s not as popular a character. Both megatron and jazz are both popular and their figures are highly regarded so I very much doubt they’ll be on deep discount like this.
Sweet! I’m gonna save it for later and skip around a lot. I want Scavenger to still hold some surprises for me when I finally get him. I’ve been wanting to see him the most since devastator was announced.

I figured I'd at least give them until Black Friday to see if anyone has deals for them.

Damn lol, he mistransformed hightower pretty badly in that one comparison shot. That and not tabbing in the upper wheel to the red support struts really makes me wonder if he transformed the combined mode correctly.

Edit: here’s a screencap of combined mode:

Wow, that's incredibly disappointing considering the cab does nothing between robot and truck. That's just extremely lazy engineering :(

Actually there's almost no engineering in mixmaster at all

He looks good in all modes though. Sucks I will have to waiste money on this

Bit of a bummer that Scavanger's top wheel is stationary, but he still looks miles above his original toy.

Looking at the reviews on Scavenger and Mixmaster, I'm still wondering where are Devastator throat gears?

Man this scavenger is awesome! A few things are bumming me out, but this is by far the best version of the character we’ve gotten. I was hoping he’d come with a stand or something for balance like rampage did, but I think I’ll just make do with using the hands to keep him up. I’m also hoping his upper torso mode was mistransformed, as I’m hoping he can have those grinder thingies for devy. But seeing as how the robot mode was also mistransformed, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was the case.

But damn! Seeing those pictures at the end makes me reeeeeally want him! He’s incredibly dynamic! I honestly expected this guy to be a static brick, but color me impressed once again. I’m really digging this constructicon set so far!

Ok wow imma have to create another list of Tformers I gotta get because it's getting hard as hell to keep up with all these Studio Series figures plus the movie Masterpiece series. In short 2020 is gonna be lit asf

Okay, so according to you this toy that improves upon the original, replicates a complicated ILM model that hasn’t had a new toy in years, and also transforms into the head of an even more complicated ILM model has no engineering because of a minor nitpick but you are also going to buy it anyway.

I'm really hoping that he just mistransformed it as well, cause I'd really like for him to have the grinder on his back!! But if not, there's always DNA Designsm
I highly doubt it, since Overload will make the bottom half of Devastator.
I think he's argument is that he needs to get it because he needs it for Devy.

Minor? Really? That's a huge cheat, objectively speaking. We can only hope that all that money they saved on designing this went into overload..
The improvements made, you must admit, are only of esthetic nature. More details and such.
There's nothing interesting, nothing complex about this toy. It's amazingly dull in what it does. But again, looks great

And yes, I'm buying this only to complete devastator, duh? ^^ If it weren't for devastator I would skip this

I mean he’s right, we can flip back and forth all day in the hopes of justifying poor spending habits, but we all know at the end of the day it’s a money game.

Why do you think Siege Shockwave is being pegged down to a Voyager price range all across retail?

To be fair, I’d argue that none of the constructicons so far have been complex. Which in my personal opinion, might actually be a good thing since a more complex figure would equal less structural integrity for the combined mode. As a result, all the constructicons so far have been “dull” in terms of engineering, but they’ve been fun as individuals toys, despite their own compromises.

Sure mixmaster isn’t perfect, I’ll give you that. But considering his price point versus all the things he’s forced to accomplish, and I’d say it’s pretty impressive on what was accomplished.

The improvement is that he can actually become Devastator. The complexity comes from it being able to transform into his head. If he was only a robot to vehicle figure, then I’d still be happy, but the fact that he’s also able to become the head of Devy is a pretty damn good feat. I like complexity and don’t really care for stuff like Cyberverse or One Step Changers, but there comes a point where it becomes detrimental to the figure (ROTF Leader Optimus, ROTF Blazemaster, etc.). You’ve got to remember that a figure has to also feel solid.

The truck cab coming off is one of the most minor things to complain about, especially when the figure would be arguably worse if the cab did transform. In that case, you’d get something like Bombusbee’s Mixmaster, which looks like a cluttered mess compared to the Studio Series version. Also, it’s a possibility that the cab is removable because it plays a role in the combined mode.
