Is the Power Blaster in the SDCC set able to break into the individual weapons?

Got my ship notification too. Was debating about holding out to see if I can get him in-store, but decided not to risk him not showing up at my local Walgreens.

Yea, if I find him in store I might get extras to give everyone else a dragon shield, but I wanted at least 1 guaranteed

OK, this is getting ridiculous. Ever since I started collecting the LC, they've disappeared at all the big retail stores. Only ones I've seen were the 2 packs and Goldar at Gamestop and a local toy shop thats asking $28 each and they currently only have the 1st wave.
Pretty much my entire LC was ordered online.

Same to an extent. Some of my Walmart’s seem to have dropped them, and the ones that do only have wave 1

So do you think that LC will go the way of Figuarts Sentai? I really don't want to get into a new line only for it to get cancelled shortly afterwards again. Is its disappearance from shelves a sign of popularity or the reverse?

I doubt it given how much Hasbro invested in the franchise.

Pretty much every store I’ve gone in they’ve had the lightning collection and I’ve gone in many and in large range (basically all over the upper Midwest, extending down to the middle of the Midwest).

I'm questioning the line given it feels like Hasbro doesn't have a lot of confidence in it yet. I mean, look at SDCC and NYCC.

SDCC was where we finally saw wave 2 after wave 1 was out for a number of months, but no hints of any waves beyond that.
So maybe they'll reveal more waves at NYCC then, right? Nope. Not a thing. Instead, we have someone just recently post what can be assumed to be figures taken from a factory to confirm wave 3's lineup and just rumors of what wave 4 is going to be.

Compare the coverage of Power Rangers to say Marvel Legends...Marvel Legends had reveals for a good ways into next year at SDCC alone.
And yes, I get that Marvel Legends is a brand that they can do this for given it's popularity. However, Hasbro BOUGHT Power Rangers, and yet don't seem to be really trying to push it out there. By now, we should have seen previews of wave 3 and maybe some hints of wave 4 of the Lighting Collection.
Also, where are the Zords? Are we going to get anything like Bandai's Legacy Collection Megazords?

    Just my thoughts here obviously.

eventually we might...I think they're playing it a bit safe for starters, putting most of their effort into the current season and some what-used-to-be-called Legacy items like the Lightning figures and the White Ranger helmet so they can figure out what will sell with the consumer...

I think they also want to wait a bit as the Bandai stuff starts to clear out and make some room/hunger for new product...I would think they have some sort of prop/weapon/morpher type product in the works, just waiting to unveil it...

Patience grasshopper. I'd say it's just Hasbro still working out everything. I don't see why they must have something to show at NYCC. Either way, they're probably still going through all of the paperwork to see what they actually do own, what they don't own, who has to be paid what, etc. It's the same reason why Shout! Factory can't release any more Sentai DVDs right now, they need to wait for Hasbro to get everything together. Not to mention Hasbro probably has to work stuff out with Toei and Bandai Japan.

got Black Ranger in the mail...Walgreens didn't screw up this time...found Ratchet in person and now just have to find Obi-Wan...

it's a simple repaint with a new head and weapon but I love how the box looks as opposed to the normal releases...

I say patience for the lightning collection, I think in 1-2 years it will explode. But then again 2-4 waves a year is nice.

Also missed the Armored Black....and this time is all my fault, a fellow posted a link over here and warned us. But anyways, I like the pace of the line. Would like to see what a Legacy like Zord lines would look like but not in a hurry since there are some other things Im still catching up.
