The Insecticons were the only ones I did (until their modern versions came out). But I don't have many G1 figures. Of all the G1 guys that fit in the classics collection, it's the Insecticons. Especially in bug mode.

And he's here! What a stunning stud. I still think Bluestreak will take the crown as the hottest Datsun bro, Smokescreen ain't no slacker.

Did a group shot of the Snowflake Seekers for my Tumblr, which reached the end of those reviews the other day. What a bunch of weirdos.

I've set the reviews on a post queue there, so they post once a day. Eventually they'll catch up with the present day as they don't skip Fridays like I do here and don't take breaks between series. Incidentally, today's review will be the last one for the Decepticon leaders, so I'll be taking another break for a little while afterwards. I honestly don't know what the next theme should be, so if anyone has any requests, please let me know.

This is all I kept of my tragic Shockwave from France, plus the proof that it was the rare Milton Bradley release. I sold the rest of it on eBay, and it disappeared off the tracking radar. Went missing for a month, but finally got delivered yesterday. Wow, talk about cursed.

I know everyone prefers the Grotusque-into-Squeezeplay idea, but I still think Mindwipe would make a better base figure. Swap the bat head out, swap the big wings for pincers, the little wongs for shell pieces and the shield for the rest of the shell.

Nice dye job. Always been a bit apprehensive about trying it out.

Definitely could squeeze a Star Saber and Thunderwing out of the same mold.

Fuck Maz. I've been posting photos for Halloween lately, but I think you win in terms of sheer horror and despair encapsulated in a single photo.

I agree with you there, I do think Mindwipe would work better for Squeezeplay, but I think Grotusque (or even Weirdwolf) would make for a better Fangry.

    Speaking of Monsterbots....

He does look lovely, and there's an element of regret at cancelling my preorder, however I picked up Barricade this week and I think he's genuinely the sexiest of the Datsuns. I am yet to pick up Bluestreak from @Art Vandelay though (OI! When are you free for beer and burgers?)

Oh, by the way I forgot to add that apparently we're getting Cybervse Repuggles? (Image via Kapow's FB)

I hear that. I'm inclined to pick up Whirl too, if only to send the sort of message I want them to hear.

To be fair to Bob, they can't all be winners. Thoughts on the Best motto he ever came up with?

Nice. Might have to grab one myself. So twinferno got done in RID15, repuggles in Cyberverse... I'm calling it now, well get a legend's class grotesque in the second bumblebee movie toy line :p

I could see a squeezeplay being... Squeezed... Out of that Cyberverse repuggles.

This is an excellent question which you may need to remind me of, as I'm about to rush off for the day. Promise you'll ask me tomorrow?
