First thing I thought of when I saw the space horses in the trailer. Which probably won't seem absurd in context to be honest... though my expectations for the film are low at this point.

Had to check the description to be sure that it was a deep fake .

Wonder how long until it is pulled for people sharing it as legit .

Hilarious. If his head wasn't so noticeably oversized, this really could pass as a legitimate thing otherwise. The cadence of the impression is absolutely perfect.

Nice thanks that was always my understanding that the Ties were expendable, shieldless, swarm fighters that overwhelmed but the individuals weren’t so important. So yeah kind of like a motorcycle in my mind, light maneuverable and dangerous.

Do think the FO Navy makes some contextual sense if the FO didn’t have limitless expendable clones of the Empire.

I was thinking the ROS trailer was a little light on reveals. I think watching TFA trailer and then ROS seems pretty obvious where JJ was going with all this.

Fuel was nebulous, at best, in the older films. Aside from one line in RotS, and the possibility of the X-Wings being fueled in ANH, which they might not be, everything in the films proper treated ships as running more on batteries for most things.

Regardless, I think that arguing about it misses the bigger problem with TLJ, which is that it is the most boring chase scene since OJ Simpson.

Well the Empire stopped using clones shortly after the clone wars. Not to say there weren't any left. There were, but towards the timeline of the OT the clones themselves were more or less phased out. I'm pretty sure the pilots in the TIE fighters were standard humanoid beings, but even then, they were seen as expendable. Now the FO on the other hand. They valued their troops a little more than the Empire did theirs.

I haven’t seen TLJ since it was in theatre. Was there ever an explanation as to why ALL of the resistance ships were running on empty?

I think that I can sum it up for many people who have gone from thinking they were mediocre to flat out loathing them.

Imagine that for four years, any time you try to make an argument about anything that doesn't make the NuWars films look great.

I pointed out that Rey became a more powerful force-user within 3 days than Luke became with training and guidance in as many months. The response I got? "lUkE's A mArY sUe, ToO, yOu JuSt HaTe GiRlS!"

Speaking of gas, this is incidentally my all time favorite Star Wars skit ever...

So brilliantly obtuse - I still cry from laughing so hard. Every. Time.

Holy shit that is hilarious. My wife just told me it’s not as funny as I think it is. She is very wrong,
