Yeah, N-Y just sent me the Pre-Order payment notification too. Pleasantly surprised (as the Canadian Loonie is up a bit this week!).

 

They always pick the last day of the month as a placeholder.. they just got the actual date now is all.

 

Aha now it makes sense. Here I was thinking everyone was feeling extra generous..  

 

TakaraTomy usually release their figures on the last Saturday of the month. However, Blackarachnia has been scheduled for a November 23 release from the start. Both Amazon JP and TakaraTomy Mall show this date.

Wonder if she really did get bumped up a week or if Nippon-yasan is wrong.
Guess we'll find out soon.

Yeah @Ektris' explanation seems logical however this is not my first order with NY and I've not had that email before hence my initial surprise..

We will indeed find out in just over a couple of weeks. Maybe they're pushing her up a week to avoid clashing with the MP-45 release as that was pushed back to the 23rd of November? Also somewhat plausible..

 

Got a early ship notice on the Soundwave Reissue coming out at the end of this month. Nothing on 46 yet.

Short review transformation first because im tired :
Overall i receive pre retail version and so far ? It exceeded my expextation. One hell of a package .
I received the figure in bot mode. No manual. It lacks the rope thay suppose to connect separate anchor piece with a peg to connect to spider mode belly to display like a real spider , i asked the source to find it.
Without manual , the transformation still very easy. Its concept is similar to Cheetor but much simpler.
To summarize :
Untab the whole boobs along with head
Uncover the back panels and bring it up over the whole boobs and head assembly. Secure the covers.
Untab the whole torso. Spread it out.
Bring the arm down below , connect the forearms. Can use the anchor piece to secure the forarm with its peg
Adjust the leg to slot comfortly into the torso like the stock photo.
Open the thigh and flip out the black panels to cover the thigh more.
Rearrange the spidee legs.
Transform the weapon then slot both side of weapon panels into two slots of the figure to finish transformation.
Done.

Ye . A beautiful spider. What more cool is how scarily like a spider it is , literally make my mom and brother nearly scream when see it.
The whole belly still has those bot mode legs stick out which cant be helped but it has problem staying there so not a gripe with me.
The whole bot mode arm stay below spider mode torso neatly.
Spider legs have ball joints at route and soft ratchet at midsection. Since this is pre retail version , the ball joints seem a little loose , but even so my copy has no problem balance itself without touching ground.
The head has ball joint , the mandibles are on hinge , the spider torso can tilt upward downward a bit.

 

Gross...and awesome...I hate that I still want this...
