It’s hard to keep up with repaints and Toy vs Toon colors at times. Lol

 

Man, what? That’s really weird to only paint some, I feel like somehow everyone’s gonna be disappointed.

 

"Released by the end of this month" is encouraging though. Only a week to go!

 

One in 20.... Hope mine isn't that one.

Strange? It's fucked up is what it is. Is silver supposed to be a rare prize and therefore better? If silver is better, why not just keep them all silver like the original release? If the white plastic is better, then isn't this silver version going to be disappointing to whoever ends up with it? If this is legit, it's just about the stupidest thing they could do.

Now if they want to do a silver variant and make that available as well, I would have no objections and I would even encourage it. Personally, I'd prefer silver or, better yet, chrome. But don't blindside people. Give them what you sell them - we've seen in the FT Jabber thread how upset some people get when you send them something that looks different from what they agreed to buy.

I would hope mine is that one, but I'd rather just have the option to buy it outright instead of it being a ridiculous "chase" variant.

 

Genuinely curious, is anyone here fine without knowing which version you will receive?

If you want silver pieces I feel like you have the better option, since you will either get it or at least the bits are easy to paint. If you don't want silver bits, then you're kind of hosed since it may be tough to find that off-white-ish paint to mod yourself (at least not without some trial and error mixing).

I wonder if this may have been a factory mistake where approximately 5% of the figures had the pieces painted silver, which may not be enough to offer as an alternative version. If so, I'm guessing the thought process was screw it, just throw them in the mix with a 1 in 20 chance of getting silver pieces.

I'd like to see a 'shopped version with the silver pieces. I kind of feel like it would clash with the rest of the toon color scheme.

 

Randomly inserted? That's fucked up. I want Silver, but I'm not playing their lotto to get them nor the extra hoop of having to trade with someone if I strike out.

 

I hope I get the silver accessories, I probably won't take them out of the tray anyway.

yes but is silver accessories with silver painted figure OR silver accessories with off-white figure. If the 2nd is the correct answer then they really fucked up.

Maybe 1 in 20 have insane bright silver faces and that’s the accessory they we’re talking about. Are they trying to compete with the Jabber drama? Just give people the choice to choose which version they want

This'll be because 3 ppl on Facebook asked for silver weapons and they're trying to please everyone, which will end up back firing.

 

Yeah, the last thing I want is for my toy buying to get complicated. Just give me what's on the box or let me choose. And I also won't go to the trouble of trading.

But seriously, what a dumb idea. Unless they mean "extra bonus silver weapons" then sure, whatever. But give me what I paid for.

 

So yeah, silver accessory gambling is dumb.
