Ah....my mistake! Still seems like a very small upcharge if they're just getting their stock from Pulse.

The cancelled Seacons seems to have been one-off with BBTS and the first pair.

The writing was on the wall there when they took down the listings the same day.

I would’ve been fine with the preorder deadline had it been longer. For example release 2 a month for 3 months and the preorders all end on the same day say the middle of January.

Hopefully you're right! I could also see TFSource being out of the loop, and the other shoe will drop soon. I just wonder how they're going to secure their stock.

I also think that the Seacons got a bit overshadowed by all the Unicron news.

Yup. Normally the newshounds are better about tracking that stuff.

Dunno if all that really makes a difference since you can preorder without paying, but like you guys said, it would have been better if the news tracker had been more on that than showing whatever 2 new cards are appearing for the TCG every 3 hours. XD

    Anyway, sightings!

    Edina Target had:
    Botbot s3 blind packs
A couple of Barricades as well as the tapes and rescue micromasters (I think that's actually the first time I've seen them in stores despite having seen later waves)
Current SS wave in its entirety.

Thankfully after all the Unicron stuff there's a little downtime... just in time for videogame season. ><

The 35th Anniversary figures are out in full force it seems. Walmart.com is showing them in stock in stores across the metro area.

Don't believe them. I ordered Bluestreak for pickup "today" at Brooklyn Center, only to get an email that my order has beem "delayed" until the 28th. Brickseek shows 6+ for all stores, which I take to mean they're just on order. But of course Walmart sells them as in-stock anyway, because Walmart is terrible.

Yeah G1 Soundwave was showing as "in stock" for a good month before they finally started actually appearing on shelves, so I don't trust that a whole lot any more.

One time I ordered a Star Wars Mimban Stormtrooper for pickup. But when I got there, instead of giving me a Stormtrooper, the guy just punched me in the face.*

*Not true at all, and yet....kinda.

EDIT: Aaaaaaad Walmart just cancelled my Bluestreak.

According to brickseek, most WM stores in the northern suburbs should have the 35th anniversary figures in stock. ofc, I'm used to WM putting things out a good week after I can order them for pickup, so I ordered a Soundblaster for in-store pickup online.

Either delivered it to the wrong house or it became a theft victim thanks to their no knock and chuck policy.

Eagan Walmart has a buttload of the 35th Anny stuff. Also a fresh case of the Refracktor, Springer, and Cracker waves.

Just got back from a late night run with Bluestreak. Heads up, all the 35th stuff is on an aisle display, not in the regular TF section.

4 Streaks, about 4 each of Soundblaster, cartoon Prime and cartoon Megs left, as of about 12:30am.

Andover Walmart has the 35th anniversary display up. It's actually a bit past the toy aisles, closer to the sporting goods area.

I picked up a Bluestreak and Soundblaster. Bluestreak is so much nicer than Prowl...probably cause he got more paint AND all the weapons. Soundblaster...I couldn't resist as that black color scheme is so good, and that larger cassette opening like the G1 toy. XD

I looked over the cartoon deco Optimus and Megs, but...nah. Honestly, I have to wonder how many people really want Siege Optimus anymore now with the reveal of the Earthrise one for next year. (I'm find with the Siege versions of him and Starscream, but had I known they were gonna do the Earth versions of them, I'd have held off on the Siege ones.)
