big nope for me...

Galaxy prime just doesn't work for me in Siege, nor find the remold of any interest. The massive gaps ensured killing my interest and no kit will fix that, and this one really doesn't.

Ultra Magnus was a must have the moment I saw him but hated, HATED the massive gaps, seriously, the shoulder parts look awful being empty like that, so those were "fixed" right away once I saw the Dr. Wu gap filler kit. This kit, nope, it just doesn't anything of interest as I find UM to be perfectly sized in this series. it's an armour, and it adds that bulk that makes him look terribly strong... stretch him and it takes that away, he ends up looking like a teenager that's outgrowing his clothes.

But still, shame on you Hasbro for making figures with such terrible empty parts.

 

How tall will they be with the kit? Will it put them in line with the older leader class size? 9 inches i believe.

 

That legs looks awful.

 

I see what they were going for with the legs, but man, that looks horrible. The weapons are honestly way too tiny too. If they were bigger, it’d be better.

 

I made a post about this same thing here of BOTH upgrade kits yesterday but I'm not sure if i made the post BEFORE the Mod did his. Sorry if i accidentally posted a thread if there's already 1 here just didn't find anything yesterday and thought i was ok to do so.

 

I think the combined Magnus looks way better than the original and I think it solves the problem I had. But now the knees are gonna be way higher on the core robot. So it’s not that perfect.

 

Is there a thread for this one?

The extra wheels in alt mode kind great (as they should have been from the start), and the increased height is perfect.  Unfortunately, the cr@ppy battle damage paint is still there.

I\'ll stick with my (CW?) Ultra Magnus (with PE and other add on kits) and original Galaxy Force Convoy, cheers.

 

I got the first kit awhile ago, and posted about it here. Both have pros and cons. For me, I really like the longer thighs, and pauldron extensions. If you're cool with painting, you may want this one instead. There aren't many photos of this kit, and ss far as I can tell, I have the only ones of the parts painted.

Legs for days.
Actually, this gives them a more anime-esque look. I kinda like it, but I feel like the arms could use matching extensions.

 

I think the leg extensions work for Galaxy Prime. But not at all for Magnus. Also what the primus is the size of that hammer!? Why is it when we get a magnus hammer it looks more like a gable?

This is actually something more fitting for Galaxy Convoy than Ultra Magnus. UM scales well enough with the rest of the Siege line but I always hoped that Siege GC was taller, not to mention that the legs extensions help with the proportions of the latter better because his bigger torso always looked off. Plus, the weapons and cannon fillers are a good bonus.

Maybe, but you wouldn't be able to use the moving wheels or extending legs.

 

What the fuck is a gable?

 

Oh! It makes them taller. Took me a second. I hadn't looked at the Before and after pics and was trying to compare the finished product pics with pics of the actual items and was thinking... "slightly different legs???" haha
