I just got Cliffy today I was surprised how gappy his car mode is on the hood nearest the windshield. I have transformed him yet to see if there is a way to remove that gap.

Update: Doesn't seem to be any way to remove the gap in the hood. Bummer. Love the car mode, and the Robot mode is much better in hand once you can purvey the model quickly with your eye. Flat on straight forward he looks a bit awkward, but once you can look from other angles, its not bad at all.

 

Here’s a little digibash I whipped up today. Ocular Max Perfection Series 09 Hellion, yellow version and Hubcap. This was a pretty simple but enjoyable. The new head is from XTB Coprimozzo. I did have some trouble trying to make a new background for the head but I tried my best. You’ll notice if you’re trying though.



I really hope MMC consider making my boy Hubcap somewhere down the line. I’d buy it hard. Anyone else interested?

I mean if I was to guess he’d be a convention exclusive but I’d prefer him be a regular release.

It was a while ago but I think it was Humbrol gloss red... Had to mask the window area first of course, which was probably the trickiest part.

 

So for those who own it, are there any major quality differences between the black version and the normal release? I’m suddenly drawn to it now since I’m not that obsessed with Cliffjumper and it makes me think he’s a strong little ant.

 

No differences as far as I can tell. They both look and feel the same in hand minus the color changes.

 

I didn't even know the black version is still readily available.

Just got MP45 and I think he pairs up really well with Hellion. They look good posed with each other.
