Nice to know their IN STOCK alert doesn't work. I signed up for email alerts but never got 1 yet.

 

It looks like now they've reached saturation. But at first you had to keep refreshing their site & it would be in stock for a few minutes, then out of stock, then in stock. I managed to get an order in but I'm not playing that game with Walmart. I can wait with Soundblaster & Bluestreak, I don't care about them as much as seekers. I just don't understand why they don't get all their stock in from Hasbro all at the same time & then use the website to sell it all. Why only a couple here & a couple there?

 

There's so many moving parts and the whole thing isn't really overseen by one person or group so there's a lot of points of failure. Plus I got the hint that the Vietnamese factory is only sending out partial cases instead of full orders so it could be more them than anything. Plus dockworkers go on strike here a lot so sometimes things don't get to where they're supposed to go for a while. I ordered Bluestreak and Soundblaster the moment they went up full well knowing that I'd have a 50/50 shot of actually receiving them. Luck was on my side as I got them both a few weeks ago but I know some people still haven't gotten theirs yet. Considering how available the exclusives are becoming (with some notable exceptions), I'm certain that anything missed will come back. Whether it be weeks later or years.

 

True, but I don’t believe the reseller prices will be significantly higher in mid-November than they are in mid-October. Especially if you’re patient about waiting for the right deal to come along. I don’t really think there’s likely to be a downside, but maybe I’ll be proven wrong.

I saw one at Target. Went back a week later and it was gone.

 

Bluestreak and Soundblaster are now available on the Walmart site!

 

Would be nice if they filled my long delayed order first before allowing others to purchase. You know since mines been preordered since july.

Same. Wish I had seen it at the price posted. I would have gladly snapped it up.

 

I think it's a case of location. For instance when I look up Bluestreak in the PA area Walmart's site says it's not in stock but in Denver CO it is in stock to be shipped to a local Denver store but can't be shipped anywhere else for some reason.

I was pleasantly surprised to run into that too.
Late last night/this morning ordered Soundblaster, Bluestreak and the 30th Aniv Voyagers (Prime & Megs) for store pickup (not deliver to store) because my local store said "in stock." I got notices they were delayed this morning.
Prime & Megs: Nov 4.
Soundblaster: Thursday, October 24th by 8:00 PM.

All listings have since been changed to "out of stock" but at least there's a bit of hope. Specifically on Soundblaster.
The rest are for my son for Christmas, so I can wait.

Oh, and Soundblaster was 29.84, not 39.99. So if (when?) he releases at brick & mortar he'll be normal voyager pricing.

 

Seems some stores are showing stock for these items. Typed in Denver Colorado on the site and says a store has a bunch for pickup today. Guessing that means these are rolling out into stores?

Checked a stock tracker. Seems stores are getting stock of Soundblaster in Denver Colorado.
