Wow, I like that they're using the Strongarm of RID 2015. Let's see if they can keep from turning her into the same cynical cinist like every other bot in this series so far...

 

Generations Strongarm when?!!??

 

I would also like to throw in my support for Generations Strongarm.

 

I third that notion, actually, i would love some R.I.D 2k15 based figures.

 

I'd be down for a Gen Strongarm from either Ironhide or Trailbreaker. Not her original design, I know, but if she was retconned into the G1 roster thats who I see she'd share a mold with

 

I don't know about 'Generations' Strongarm, only the Strongarm that was introduced in the 2015 R.I.D. cartoon. I'm still looking to order the previous installment and give it a good read.

 

Yeah, basically. Honestly i would love to see Energon Strongarm getting such an treatment.

 

Yay Strongarm, one of my favourite new characters! Let's hope she doesn't get killed off early.

 

The dialogue here feels way more natural than in the previous issue previews.

 

And there was a blue Trailbreaker deco in the Diaclone line that was also released in the US in the Diakron line.

 

Artwork looks great! I hope these two are the main artist for future issues.

Also, seeing Strongarm makes me happy. It'll be interesting to see how she interacts with Sideswipe.

No. This is his first appearance in this series.

It'll be nice to get to know him better in this issue.

 

Awesome. I really like how they’re gradually expanding the world and cast.

 

Question: if the idea here is to promote the current toyline, then why are characters like Kup and Cyclonus drawn to look like their toys from a few years back, as opposed to drawing them like their cartoon forms? What ever happened to "toys no longer available?"

 

A 30+ year old character model over a 3 to 4 year old toy. Yeah that makes sense. they are because they want to. Who cares.

 

I've never watched Energon.

 

so great to see strongarm again. hope she's used more than just as background bot.

as for a new figure? i won't say no to one as long it keeps a similar design to the older RiD toy but i'm still really happy with that one and she stands with my chug line up already so it's not a priority for me.
