But... they are? I understand the frustration with the uncertainty that surrounded Tentakil and Overbite being available through Pulse for a while, but, like, they're there now, fans in the US have an entire week to put in their pre-orders, it's not much different than any other online exclusive. If you've got the dolla then go scoop these last two strong, childlike fish while you can, yo.

They are overpriced. I don’t care what Takara charges. $60 for a Voyager is scandalous.

you are more than welcome to believe that, but it's still pretty standard pricing from takara and your opinion doesn't change that. hell half the boards thinks $30 for a voyager from hasbro is overpriced

The chances of prices going down EVER are extremely slim, but prices creeping up over the years is a guarantee. That and reduced size/ plastic used per product.

doesnt everybody :p  but even then, accounting for inflation only, a 1996 beast wars deluxe at $10 would cost $17 today rounded up, so our current prices arent too far off what they were in 96 to be honest. and just to show an example of how prices on transformers were kept artifically low, an item that cost $10 in 2000 should cost $26 rounded up in 2019

I miss filling my gas tank for $10.
    I miss dollar cinemas.
I miss $5 carload nights at the drive in.
I miss my brown hair (now extensively gray).
    Times change.

People were paying these prices before the brand unification and no one really had an issue with it. Why are they now so difficult to accept?

Although I'm surprisingly happy with how the line has gone with Warden in charge, you have to thank Aaron Archer A LOT for he decision to make every size class as big as physically/budgetly possible during Armada. We've slowly shrank since then and we have his decision to go as big as possible almost 20 years ago to thank for why it's only been getting noticeable post-DOTM.

We should just be glad that Hasbro is making these TTMall exclusives available to us at all. That’s their way of releasing the figures at this time.

That’s not to say they won’t recolor them in Universe colors and release them as Piranhaking (who was supposed to be an Energon Terrorcon set). They did release Magnus Prime (but not Godbomber) after all. However, at the time, they weren’t importing TT products and selling them on their own website.

Time will tell. Best to get them now if you really want them. No upfront payment. You have several months to save up as they’re staggered releases. Hell, if it’s like Star Convoy they’ll probably get delayed...

Overpriced compared to your perception of what retail prices are. Your issue is not with Hasbro or Pulse, it's with import prices in general.

Yes, that’s fair. I also happen to think that the Nemesis Siege Convoy is overpriced as well.

Yup I learned that lesson with unite warriors Computron, who at this point I doubt I’ll ever get for a decent price now. If anything we should be grateful these guys are even available by Hasbro pulse at all since before it was just sites like bbts, or tfsource but now we have all those options along with pulse which in my opinion is more reliable since the figures are usually coming from the source instead of being imported (except in the case of the Takara to my exclusive, but even then with Hasbro and Takara being partners, it gives a lesser chance of problems occurring).

Dude, I’m not arguing with you! I’m simply stating that I think that pricing is outrageous and if that’s what they’re paying in Japan then I sympathize with them.

sorry, not trying to argue, its just that the sudden influx of posts complaining about the prices since the seacons and star convoy got announced has increased a lot and many of those posts lack the context to understand why the prices are the way they are (not saying you lack the context or understanding, but many do). hell, it took forever for people to even accept that these are imports and not domestic releases despite it being plain as day on pulse :lol

I don't remember this much price complaints during titans return, when the legends versions cost $40 per deluxe with superior paint jobs to the usa versions...
