Welp, i'm really excited about the Furai Model kit Devy, but definitely not gonna preorder it on BBTS. They are 10 dollars higher than everywhere else, after being MSRP for every other one of them. Probably just going to get it at Barnes & Noble like the rest of them, especially with how many discount coupons they send me. Even BN sells them at MSRP. I wonder if there is a supply chain change, or they just decided since it's more expensive and probably a bigger box, it needs to have a 10 dollar markup.

 

BBTS' flat shipping is awful in terms of actually getting your items out the door (like almost a week). If you pay for a more expensive option, then it goes out the door within a business day. I used to only use flat shipping. The last two times went quickly when I chose a more expensive shipping option.

I can maybe think of Amazon as another place that has delayed shipping...if you don't pay for Prime or the more expensive shipping options.

Talk about b.s. I clicked on the "email me when this item is back instock" as I back up to possibly pre order if I got a chance incase BBTS falls through, never got any emails, and wouldn't had known otherwise had I not read your post.

 

Color me surprised that Select Hotshot hit before Select Smokescreen. My US Siege collection is going to be weird. Bluestreak, Hotshot, the Rainmakers, and Shackwave so far.

 

I'm looking into picking up a couple of older TF items before I ship out my PoL (I have to before the end of the month), most likely some custom fodder.

Want to pick up the Titan Master Wave 3 set. Although I own Overkill and Fangry already, I custom'd Fangry for my ghetto Misfire head (because I decided I don't want to pay for Misfire at aftermarket prices and I don't care about him THAT much) I could at least recover a Fangry head. The extra Overkill body I could probably just use him in the vein of BW Uprising Diagnostics Drone (the head, who knows? the other one has a permanent home on a spare Triggerhappy).

The thing I'm waffling on the most is the Titans Return Wave 1 set, of which I already own a Scourge and Skullcruncher, but not the other two-- and the thing I'm largely considering is whether I really want another Scourge as a Sweep stand-in out of that mold (mostly because despite liking its alt mode I don't really care for its robot mode and my only real option for a Sweep head right now is giving him Blurr's head). Skullcruncher I can't figure out what to do with other than give him Galvatron's old head. Blurr I'm completely neutral on, while Hardhead would get turned into another member of my Quake Corps (or even Scorponok).

Any thoughts?

 

if you don’t like them, then I’d say hold off. Those characters could be coming in WFC3.

Still waiting for Smokecreen and Thundercracker too. Gave up on Springer and Reflector and got them elsewhere. I had Refraktor for a month before bbts got them in. lol

 

About 20 mins after I posted, got email that Springer is in pre-shipment.
