The white looks great! How did you fix his star, was it flipping the red connector around?

The connector his star is attached to is installed backwards.

Okay, so with this "Project Raiden" news coming in December...and the window for the final two Seacons closing at the end of October, my guess is November will be Super Megatron's reveal and pre-orders, with the window closing ahead of the Raiden reveal.

    Makes sense.

I would imagine (total guess) that if he's a CW/UW sized figure, it'd be three double releases like the Seacons. If they're old voyager sized (for a Devastator-class Raiden), then we'd get 6 monthly releases. Can't imagine a single release for either scenario. Other options could be just straight Raiden-decoed trains that don't transform (that are built for some specific model train gauge), a more Action Master-y Raiden release, or a single train transformer that's been named Raiden for historical reasons

and then after Raidens three months of pre-orders then a BW 2 repaint of the seacons ? would make sense to put a little distance between the two releases I guess ?

Yeah especially since next year will be one year away from the 25th anniversary of the Beast Era so doing it if (hopefully When) the hype's going to start on Takara's side would make sense.

Got mine in and I am pleasantly suprised (kept my expectations low); I like everything that this set offers actually. He’s a bit smaller than I thought - in altmode and as Star Convoy (I thought he’d be the same size as the Dai Atlas leader mold) - which I am really happy about. A smaller size often negates some of the budgetary limitations in terms of design and engineering. Regular Prime’s proportions are a little off-kilter - and that’s not only because of his Ginrai-like reverse chest - but I dig him. To me he’s got more character than the Siege Prime and makes for a strong asset of the package. The altmode is not bad and - to bring back the Ginrai comparison - I like it better than Maketoys’ Thunder Manus. But I can definitely see an upgrade set that covers the back section of the cab.

edit: forgot to mention Star Convoy himself! Ofcourse he looks amazing and the legs (and feet!) don't seem so off in person. The chrome really works here; and you're not gonna get that with a contemporary MP (3P or official). So that's a major selling point.

As far as the issues; the looseness on mine is minimal but I can’t get the golden star to tab in securely. I fixed the reversed position and tried to sand the peg behind (it’s too big to fit in the chest ) but in the end it seems when I play around with the position of the star ánd/or the cab(?) in the chest I can get it to stay put (not pegged in though). It’s hardly a dealbreaker though. Really my only ‘issue’ is that I don’t see Takara doing the rest of the Return of Convoy crew.

So yeah, pretty happy with this purchase.

And here I was hoping to have him at the beginning of November. For anyone that hasn't checked it says 12/2/2019 now. I don't see what could be the holdup since the figure has already been release. So long as I get one I guess that is OK.

If anyone changes their mind on Star Convoy, I'll gladly take it off your hands (when it arrives...).

Id say import the sucker from Robotkingdom eventhough the shipping to the US costs a small fortune.

Nope. Last update I got from Pulse was back in late September when they pushed back the October 1st release until November 1st. Seems like they might be the last to get their own product. Didn't fill me with confidence about how the King Poseidon members will release, either.

The distinction doesn't seem very important given their recent harmonization and that this has released abroad. I get that it's a Takara release, but with all the brand unification, the difference now seems to come down to little more than what sticker appears on the box.
