Is there a screw there to tighten? I don't have mine in bot mode right now, so I don't recall.

Also, Future Floor Polish is the way to go for all things tightening.

 

You can disassemble the waist to push it back from behind. The yellow pieces are all separate from the white pieces.

It's a pin with a head, so it cannot be screwed in.

 

I tried the soldering iron technique and it barely made any difference. I think that something is stopping the pin from going in any further, even when headed up.

As an alternative I was thinking of taking some thread and winding it around between the waist-piece and the part held by the pin. Any thoughts on whether that would be a good idea BrutiKing?

 

I keep saying that I will takea deeper look into the the loose waist issue but haven’t had the time lately.

This sounds like a great solution.

I’m still wagering that this hips and waist are supposed to feel a little loose due to the transformation process. I absolutely refuse to believe that TT would leave a joint loose unless it was aQC issue like Thrust’s waist.

I’m sure you’ll hit on something soon Doc Ratchet. Once I get some free time, I’ll pull mine apart again and look for some more solutions that won’t involve pin/rivet removal.

 

That could work I believe. Although it would extend the torso up just a smidge. Not sure how much of a visual difference that’d make.

 

I think I can actually use just enough thread to add friction but not raise it up. My main concern is that it might loosen the pin up even more over time, but I might be willing to chance it. I'll post about the results if I try it.

 

The yellow piece has somehow been pushed out of it’s seating chamber. In order to fix that issue, you’ll have to pull off the access panel to push the piece into its original position. If you have a tiny hook or pointed tool, you can do this without unscrewing any parts. Just flip up all the hip panels. There’s probably some adhesive securing the with panel so be ready for that.

 

Yup, that happens almost every time for me. The more expensive the figure, the bigger the refund!
