Agree and while I’ve only read a couple issues so far, my moneys on the fact that this isn’t Xavier or moreso a new personality overwriting the classic version due to Moira’s influence/machinations. Still it’s masterful work and I’m a bit hooked as long as Hickman shows a clear plan and isn’t just throwing out critical continuity just for his own sake (e.g. - Cyclops/Jean Grey marriage), Gabriel Summers, etc. I’m can be on board with certain changes but at least explain them. For example, Scott and Jean divorced off-camera.
Just ordered Retro Vision and Hercules from Pulse which should catch me up from almost a year off collecting. Other than the love triangle pack, I think I’m all set for the remainder of the year - unless I somehow get sucked into Moonstar and Emma somehow.
I bet you wouldn't say to someone's face that they're a piece of shit because they don't have the authority to sell you toys at the price you'd like.
Someone still on the fence of getting MCU Mk.85? Here's the reason why I want and I managed to get the whole wave in the process: - Last MCU Iron Man Armor - Feels solid compared to bootleggish Mk.50 (Cull Obsidian Wave, better get the 2-pack version) - It's a modernized comic classic IM armor - 4 effects parts - Nano Gauntlet for BAF Smart Hulk - x2 per case assortment (so it's easy to get this figure in the wild, no reason to be left out unless you don't like it) Yeah.. A final battle version of the MCU trinity will be upon us once Hasbro needs to milk our wallets again. - Final form Fat Thor w/sculpted braided hair - Worthy Cap w/ battle damaged paint apps and broken shield - Mk.85 Iron Man w/ RDJ head, extra hands w/infinity stones, possible battle damaged paint-apps. We all know Hasbro is reading our posts and taking notes of our ideas here.
Went to a convention today and bought the new Big Time Spidey and Spider-punk. I also got my Marvel Legends Punisher signed by Jon Bernthal, super nice guy!
It depends on whether or not the employee tries to help me. This guy did, but it was the jackass on the walkie that was the dick. I worked in retail for 6 years, so yes, I have called worthless employees worthless to their faces before because I expect people to actually do their jobs like I did.
I'm planning for my ML Bishop and my copy of Uncanny X-Men #282 & 283 to get signed by Whilce in an event but I wasn't sure the event organizers can allow off-event items to be signed by guest artists.
Jim Shooter came to a Convention in my city( of course I didn’t know he was a big wig at Marvel). A guy I game with met him and signed a few comics for him at no charge.
I don't know man. He took Teakwondo when he was kid. Made it to yellow belt. I 've been trying to tell y'all about this dude. He's badass.
I can't look at their paint jobs online and for Vindicator, that's very important given how crappy I've seen some figures be with the maple leaf lines on the chest.
What do people think of buying both and returning the worse one to the store? I'm not saying they shouldn't price match but in practice it's like trying to get them to honor a resale tax exemption (they don't want to be bothered).
I noticed at 1 of my local walmarts that marvel legends were rolled back to 16.98 from the 19.87 that they were previously. Just the x-men legends though, the spiderman legends are still $20. Has anyone else noticed this?
They ARE pieces of shit! Not really...lol...but they could stand to bone up on their own policies a bit...
