Yeah, I think given the number of people that have had good experiences and made high dollar purchases without incident, only to now have a slow rolled out scam hitting is pretty odd. A hacked account sorta makes more sense where a legit seller doesn't immediately notice something is off, but by the time they do, they're already in a financial hole and jump ship entirely, if they haven't already lost complete account control. It just doesn't seem logical for a seller to go rogue for a quick burst of cash at once when they could have a consistently steady flow coming in otherwise.

Damn! I bought from him earlier this year and everything went fine. I even had a few of his items on my watch list. But recently he ended a majority of them. Saw his feedback and he's getting a few negs already. I think I'll keep away from buying from him. I hope you're able to get your money back.

 

Can confirm...luijun and ahbj1981 have locked up a ton of my money. Says it’s out for delivery in CA...well I’m in IA.

 

Same thing happened to me with liujunling87_5. I ordered a Red G1 Mirage and it has been bouncing back and forth between Denver and Boulder. Boulder apparently has a similar zip code as my actual zip code - it seems the tactic is to change one number. Filed with Paypal this afternoon and had my money back within 2 hours from the seller with no explanation.

 

Yeah I got a refund too. But if he can string every one else on for just a little longer I think that's the plan. Then disappear with a fuck ton of cash.

 

At this point, I'm more baffled by the number of people getting refunds. Definitely not the sorta thing we usually see from scammers.

 

Unfortunately, it seems as though shimin-58 has gone bad, as others have speculated. Slightly wrong postcode given so it'll probably bounce around for an eternity and end up on the other side of town! And be a bag of beads. Dissapointing but that's the way it is. I have lodged a claim with Paypal and will leave some negative feedback soon.

 

I think it's as @Danbot alluded to above. If they can squeeze in a few more sales before the ship goes down, all the better from their perspective.

 

Yeah, My shipping has been the same as in it's not moved for 11 days. I put my claim in on Friday. Really frustrated by paypal though, as they won't look at this thread, they won't look at recent feedback. The process doesn't need to be this slow.

 

Shimin-58’s deleted all his listings and changed his name to Shiminn-58. Time to move him to the bad list officially.

 

The irony of this is that he will probably be good for a little while to build the account.

 

How long does it normally take for an ePacket tracking number to show a result of some type? 3 days and my tracking is still unknown/pending.

 

3-5 working days

 

Sigh... so my tracking number hasn't moved for almost 2 weeks now. I know that Taiwan Post usually goes silent until the package reaches your border but last time it was up to 8-10 days max.
Contacted the seller for some update.

Time to put him in the bad sellers group.

Has anyone had their ft jabber shipped from bababobo yet? I order mine on nov2018 and it hasn’t been marked as shipped yet. When I contact him he says it’s not in stock yet but when my buddy contacted him he said it is in stock

 

I ordered mine when it came in stock just after the Chinese holiday and I got the shipping notice on Oct 15 but it looks like it didn’t leave until the 18th. Did you place your order with a bunch of other items? If so, if you click on your order number to get more detail you’ll sometimes see for multiple item orders that while the overall status might not be marked as shipped, individual items that are in stock may have already gone out and will have their tracking info there.
