    Never been into G2, but I gotta say that looks fantastic.

    (Still not a fan of the duck-faced head, though.)

    Hopefully I'm entirely wrong here, but it doesn't look like he has metallic gold/red? That would be a bummer, I was hoping he would have that premium finish. But it could just be my phone screen messing with me.

    Judging from the sword and shield colors, it does look like it's based on the regular version not the metallic one. For reference:

    Not at all opposed to this, but has there been any rumor or suggestion to indicate they're even going in that direct? Aside from Star Saber and Deathsaurus, and an upcoming Victory Leo, I wasn't aware they had any plans at all for more IDW designs, heck, I haven't even heard rumblings of new FoC designs?

    I'm not big on G2, but this looks great.

    I may be in the minority, but I actually prefer the look of the regular version to the metallic one.
