That’s when they do “The Clap” my friend and I just agree when the clap happens everything is just over hahah
(Okay, right thread this time) Got myself a Giant Man at Gamestop. Glad I never got around to getting the BAF because I like the helmet on this one better. Don't like how stiff the shoulder and neck joints are, though. Also looking at the wall they had, it's kinda crazy how many Legends they've been pumping out through the fan channel recently. Logan, Iron Man, 2 Punishers, Deathlok (didn't even know he was out yet), the Deadpool/Hit Monkey set, and of course Giant Man. Not to mention the X-Men sets due out soon/now.
I don’t know if I could do Deathlok. I already upgraded him from the ToyBiz one. And I only got him to update Sasquatch. Ironically, I couldn’t resist finishing the Wendigo wave and updating the that too, so...
I don't see the point of this guy. I guess if you're in his cult, you'd really want it. I'll just take the leg pouches from my extra $5 DP and put it on the Sas one.
Warlock uses Thanos' infinity gauntlet, so it is less he's left-handed and more he just has an hand-me-down guantlet lol.
"(Uncanny X-Force) was relaunched after issue #35 as part of the Marvel NOW! relaunch event, and the new volume features Psylocke and Storm leading a new team of "outcasts and scoundrels". " "Deathlok Nation Fantomex discovers there's something wrong with the World, as a presence calling itself Weapon Infinity has started manipulating the timestream within. Fantomex is attacked by a group of Deathlok cyborgs based on the Avengers who apparently want to kill him and take possession of the World. With the aid of a rogue Deathlok unit the team travels inside the World and faces Deathlok versions of themselves while Deadpool kills the architect of Weapon Infinity, the enigmatic Father, erasing the attacking Deathlok strain. The rogue Deathlok joins the team and Fantomex is revealed to be growing a clone of the child Apocalypse deep inside the World, unbeknownst to the rest of the team, watched over by Ultimaton" Guess that Uncanny X-Force Deathlok isn't Michael Collins or Luther Manning, Uncanny X-Force Deathlok is a cash-grab repaint of a nameless cyborg/clone. Also, guess Fantomex wasn't a mutant either and he was a core member.
That Deathlok also showed up in the current X-Force arc with young Cable right before the HoX reboot. So he's been in a couple of different stories. It's certainly an easy repaint, but no more a cash grab as any other easy repaint... like the million Spider-Man figures. I'm sure there are people that want this Deathlok to complete their X-Force lineup.
Finally found Emma at Walgreens in the new Marvel Halloween endcap. Even through this is going to be a short lived promotion, I'm glad Walgreens is giving a bigger push to get their exclusive MLs out more wipespread.
Previous Thor figures have been way too tall, even by ML standards. Hemsworth is indeed taller than Cap and Tony, but not as much as the figures showed. New Bro Thor is more correctly sized. Not perfect, but closer.
I just got texted this picture from my girlfriend. Apparently she asked someone at Walgreens to call her when it got one and they did. They said it was the only one they got.
