I've mentioned this few years ago that if Makers were to churn out a CWs-styled Raiden, a 5 members gestalt, they could easily remold these to:

1) Sixliner

2) Sixtrain

3) JRX (Well, other than the original 3 members, the other 2 Bots could be new characters)

 

Agreeing with the sentiment that the brand unification was a great move!
Quality and paint apps are at an all time high and Takara's saving a bunch of money so they can do more fun things on top of the huuuuuge amount of awesome figures that are already coming out in all the various lines.

Can't wait until we see more on this new project come December!

Change Shin... hold it. This is the real deal! If this uses Plarail system, it would be useful, otherwise it can have its own tack. We still hope more Japanese exclusive combiners like Road Caesar, Landcross, and Dinoking, Not to mention if Earthrise reveals more Micromaster Combiners, it would be a sign for Sixteams which could be sold in three separate sets, along with Battle Masters that serves as combiner parts.

I wonder if they make them a Titanclass a commander class or release them one at a time like The Seacons.

Or have they been thinking they can gouge the fandom with another Crowd Funding campaign this soon !!!

Since the seacon are already kinda expensive 6 team members of deluxe or bigger in crowd funding terms could be kinda horrificially expensive and could easily risk being undercut by the Chinese doing their own version before Takara can even get their's made.

A G1 Reissue would be nice though - as would a lot of the other Japanese G1 stuff like Grandus for example would be nice to have a reissue of too.

If it is a new mould though I expect to flinch at the price. (since well Takara these day like to gouge)

Devastator was OS's rival while Raiden was Devy's. I think.

 

Titan class would be fine by me. Trains are big. And the Autobots lack a Titan Class Combiner. At the very least, any modern take needs to have all 6 members, not 5 (or 5 with some mini member as a weapon or some other cop out to get to 6).

But this is TakaraTomy we are talking about, so I'm sure whatever it is, they will not cut corners.

I guess people are getting TF and Diaclone confused, cause even though Diaclone had no story, as far as I know, the Train-bots seemed to face off with the Construction-bots in promotional material, no?

 

I agree that thanks to the brand merger quality and paint apps are at an alltime low.
The quality of the selection of figures offered has also plummited.
So thank God Takara is still putting in the effort to give us toys of the characters we really want.

Actually in the Diaclone fiction ALL the mecha were facing insect alien invaders.

 

Also takaratomy is responisible for Drivehead and Shinkalion.

Titan Class or bust. He needs to be the same size as CW Devastator. They should have been rivals in G1, but Raiden never made it here. So now's the time! I've been playing around with both CW Devastator and Predaking, and Titan Class is the size we need for Raiden. He was never a Scramble City style combiner, so why make him one now?

 

He fought Predaking in the show often, but his package bio mentioned his disdain for Devastator.

 

I’m excited for this, I hope it is CW size.
