Anyone here have an extra chrome gold plated Scoria Dinohead not in-used on sale? Thank you

I bought it from someone with Autobot logo applied and tried to remove the Autobot logo then the Chrome gold peel with it a little.

 

Finally put the toy head on.

I need silver thighs.

 

So I got a Scoria. Only issue is he’s missing part of his RIGHT middle finger. The seller sent me a LEFT hand and said the fingers are the same and should work. He also has Fanstoys sending a right hand but who knows how long that’ll take. What’s the easiest way to fix this finger with what I have now? My guess would be remove a pin, swap and repin. Never done that though and not sure if it’s that simple.

FT has excellent customer service and they should be able to get you the part quickly. Next time hit up @dalianjj who is on the forum and is a FT rep. He is super helpful in getting parts. In the time that I’ve been on here I’ve found FT help to be the best. FYI

 

Yeah I would have but the seller did it first. But that’s not what I wanted to know. How do I swap out the finger? Or are you saying don’t bother and swap the whole hand instead?

 

I would wait and see what FT sends you. Swapping a whole hand assembly is probably a lot easier than a single finger.

 

Hmm. Might be best to swap the hand out. Unless you have the correct tool, those pins are hell to remove. They are in to stay and you could possibly cause more harm trying to remove one. My advice. Good luck dude

 

Now that we're getting more toy-based MPs, I kinda regret not getting the FT-04T version and an extra dino toy head. That said, I do not regret swapping out dino heads for a third time, as doing it for the Diaclone and G2 versions was a miserable experience.

 

Yeah, FT-04T Scoria is the only FT dino repaint I don't have, unfortunately. I have 1 smoke toy dino head for Scoria. I should have gotten more when they were readily available to go with my Scoria repaints I guess I didn't have the foresight back then as I was still kinda new to collecting.

 

Did the shoulder fix for scoria come with another figure?

 

No, it was sent out as a separate item if you requested the fix from your retailer at the time.

 

I got a scoria last year. FT still had shoulder fix kits. Send them an email. They probably still have a few left.

 

Ok, thanks for the info guys! I reach out, hopefully they still have some. The retailer I purchased from closed down I believe, I forgot what site it was but they use to have a following on here then they closed down. I never received my FT Quakewave arm piece to reverse the tubing to under his arm from them either even though I asked
