    Mine has arrived. He is cool and good, no visible defects, just some slightly blotched paint. Is there a trick to getting the back of his torso to stay pegged in?

    My only gripe are his hands appear to be on the small side but I'll live. I honestly don't mind the colour in person.

    So I think everyone seeing purple has everything to do with the lighting... In natural light it's definitely blue. Haven't had a chance to transform it yet, but man is it a nice figure!!!

    No argument. My statement was more in regards to their current assertions that there would be no repaints, but really there probably will be down the road.

    I can honestly see the issue here in your picture best. On my screen the parts around his chest and head are very blue. His legs parts look very purple. LOL

    Curious how many have plastic swirls on the arms, I never had this issue with FT before and it makes it look cheap to me :(

    Just got mine in and please fanstoys retire these neck designs they are terrible. Also does anyone else have a right leg where the the pieces don't align tidy?. Apart from that what a glorious blurr this is even my non transformer fan friend knew who he was.

    They do look a little small and if he's near bots with larger, articulated hands (Apache for instance), he definitely seems a bit short-changed in the hands department.

    Because more often than not it's the only way to get a faithful recreation of the robot mode. In any case, the reason I don't transform some of them is because it isn't enjoyable.

    My only issue so far is that he was really fucking shoved in the styrofoam HARD. It's gunked up all over his arms and some on his legs. It's taking a good bit to remove, and I was a little skrrd trying to get him out of it.

    Same here. I’m a lazy collector at heart. Like you said, the Dinobots are the only ones even worth going thru back and forth transformations over their lifetime.
