    I'll be watching it later today to refresh my memory, but remember grievous takes orders from palatine. He probably wanted the droid army to capture him, so he could get anakin on his ship and have a show down with dooku, thus giving him push closer to becoming his student. Also, time to end the war so lets get the droid army wiped out as much as possible. Convinced grievous to do it by telling him a strike at the heart of coruscant will sow fear amongst the republic, demoralising them and making their war effort take a hit.

    And she proved she's a good sniper, hitting a moving flying droid from a distance. Why not sniper padme through the window when she's in bed?

    I forgot to mention the cameo in aotc. Homer Simpson pops up. I still can't believe they put him in.

    Mine started an hour ago. And runs all through Monday. Monday because i never work on my birthday, this afternoon because we have to use our leave before the end of the month and i had half a day left.

    Boy do I wish he was flocked. Still want it though!

    He outback era is definitely my second favourite after the Byrne years lineup. I have definitely been contemplating putting together a wee X-Men ML squad, but there’s no decent versions of a couple of key characters for me yet - Cyclops, Jean and Kitty

    I’ve just been in a two hour curriculum meeting - I’m on your wavelength.

    Heck yeah, brown wolvie all the way. The Mezco gambit looks amazing, but I’ve not found them very playable (plus probably don’t blend well with other lines).

    @Ottertron,
    I have a feeling customisers will attempt to make Mezco Lockjaw furry and it'll either look spectacular or be nightmare fuel like the couple of times I saw it attempted with a Hot Toys Rocket :D

    I'm hoping that Mezco don't release a 2nd Lockjaw with either Crystal or Medusa and do a different facial expression but they like their variants so I wouldn't be surprised.

    I have just opened IF Helex and am enjoying the option to have the little arms in jazz hands mode :D

    @MyTea Boc,
    Scary times indeed! glad you're safe!

    The thing I always try to remember with Star Wars, is if they did the prequels back in 77-83 and they were as successful (I agree with Lucas that the character dynamics aren't as strong in episodes 1-3), we'd all herald then as amazing films and we'd pick apart and over analyse episodes 4-6 released in 1999 onwards to the point of hatred and annoyance.

    The main thing we love about Star Wars is it was ours. Our generation. The pinnacle of special effects. A new (very old) mythology given to us (repackaged for us) at a time when we're very susceptible to influence and open to large concepts. When the prequels came out during my generation's cynical coming of age it was very easy to pooh-pooh them. But they weren't just for us and they had to be a product of their time.

    This is why I'm absolutely fine with episodes 7-9 being a remix of a theme, because that's all Star Wars was in the first place. I can watch them like I can listen to a remix tape of a classic album, and I'm super pleased a new generation get to experience them as "theirs".
    I also think it helps that we have this generation's directors on them rather than Lucas and that is my only real sticking point for the prequels.

    But then again 99-2005 could have given us Star Wars by Mark Steven Johnson, Michael Bay or Paul Verhoeven, none of which would have been right (but as an adult, I would have loved to have seen). Can you imagine Tony Scott directing the podrace?

    Now excuse me while I go and post a lengthy diatribe about the Michael Bay Transformers movies over on a Star Wars forum. :D

    5 Spooky doots?! :O

    It's grand dude, there hasn't been anything in the news about anything, it was probably a car backfiring or something, it just surprized me how quickly everyone's minds to to 'bomb'.

    EDIT - Dispatch on the mighty Omega Supreme :D  :D

    For sure the story rolls how Palpatine plans it, so that the plot can develop.
    But neither Grievous nor Dooku are imbeciles and they didn't get to this point by doing idiot things. Why would they risk so much on a plan that's just shit? The point is, they don't actually strike at all. They just sit there in orbit around Coruscant doing nothing, with their ground invasion force not invading, simply waiting to be destroyed, or in Dooku's case, reduced to a character development plot point murder victim.

    Darn... I never get my things shipped early anymore. Hopefully I'll have Omega before i head to the States next weekend, though.

    EDIT: Oh, and Attack of the Clones is a garbage film, and no one can convince me otherwise :p

    Chopping strip to Hudds was a success on pressies of a last minute variety for the Sibling but a Fail on the extra Sixshot front as the Entertainer there had a sole Siege Screamer. Typical when I've got a sneaky brainwave for the ultimate fate of the spare!
