So... it looks like Baba ended the long-running 7% discount for 4 or more items purchase. Hopefully it's just a temporary thing, otherwise they're going to need to do a fair bit of price adjustments to compete with the myriad of pop-up sellers listing the same items.

 

I filed a claim after I saw the negative feedback piling up.. and I ordered right before they went rogue, so I thought I might get my item, but nope. If the scammers are going to be that disrespectful to us by deliberately going out out of their way to mail an empty chunk of Styrofoam, but cant be bothered to send us our items, Im not wasting any more time with these scammers. Straight up refuse it.

 

How else would they be towards us? This isn't Robin Hood where the rogueish Chinese eBay sellers scam rich collectors to help the poor you know  

 

Did you have any update on this? I'm waiting on something from him, and just wondered if you ever got your item.

The first scam feedback on wanglansuo8 came in as expected, along with some truly comical price drops. Looks like another one for the naughty list.

 

I ordered FT Koot from him 3 weeks ago, still got to my city before failing to deliver due to an incomplete address. His most recent feedback had the same issue, but he is supposedly resolving it. I’ll post an update when my situation gets resolved one way or another.

 

I just purchased an item from him and got a tracking number that does have my zip as the destination. We'll see!

 

I had an item with an incomplete address once and I called the local post office, gave the tracking and they said your package is right here go ahead and come get it. I went and got it and everything was legit! So maybe try to call and see what they say.

 

It was mailed to my general vicinity, but still an hour or so away. I’ll try giving them a call, thanks for the tip!

On checking the new negative ("Was not a optimas prime! Fake seller"... exact quote, I haven't made a spelling error  ) it looks like it may have been a case of the buyer not realising they weren't getting an official product as it was a KBB Prime they bought... or the other alternative is they were sent a different item entirely, which could have been a seller error, they don't specify!
By putting "fake seller" are they saying that the seller sent a fake or that the seller themselves is fake? Discuss  

 

I received Gabriel (Omega Supreme) a few weeks ago with no problem. So hopefully not going rogue, but with items disappearing and major price drops it’s concerning. If anyone receives an item at the extra low cost please post. I would love to get some things at those prices. Gigapower Grimlock $115!!! Hell ya

 

He just refunded me which I was surprised by, but I think he's trying to prolong the bad feedback for as long as possible before it all hits at once.

I had some real hope after he emailed apologizing for the delay in sending out the package due to the Chinese holiday, but screwing up the delivery address is right out of the rogue eBay seller handbook so I’ve pretty much resigned myself to settling for a refund and time wasted. Almost every Chinese seller on eBay save for a precious handful look like ticking bombs; I am not sure what the exploit is on the other end that allows them to cash out while buyers still get a refund, but its looking more and more likely that I ditch the platform completely (the disappearance of coupons doesn’t help) or just stick to some core sellers regardless of price and items located in the US.

 

Its what I ordered from him as well. According to the post office when I called them they told me its shipping to a completely different city then my address.

I messaged him and told him what the post office said. He messaged back saying he shipped to my address and that he was an honest seller. So we will see. I do not have high hopes. I ordered it on Sept 28th, it was shipped on the 10th and left China on the 11th. It has not reached the states yet.

He has many items priced at rates you can't even buy them for direct in China and he has multiple listing for the same items at different prices.
I'll be really surprised if he has not gone rogue and my item shows up.

I recently decided to go in on a lot the Fans Toys figures I had been avoiding. I was able to get all the ones I wanted for reasonable prices except for Koot and Sovereign. I just missed the Pre-Orders for Sovereign. Hopping to snipe one when they finally ship. Koot unless he actually shows up I'll have to bite the bullet and pay the late tax.

 

if it’s happening to multiple orders then it’s a foregone conclusion that he’s gone rogue. Interesting that he’s still claiming innocence too; a seller can gum up the refund process by pretending to engage with the buyer during the claim process, it’s a time suck for the buyer, but it would be for them too I suppose.

I am late to the collecting game as well. What I’ve found is that it is better to just wait and be patient; you’ll eventually find what you’re looking for at very reasonable prices. I’ve pretty much come to mildly regret the things that I paid the late tax for simply out of my own impatience. The times that I’ve chosen to wait, I have found deals ranging from good to great for figures that have been either new or in impeccable condition. I’ve also learned to preorder every FT figure, even the ones I am less interested in at release, just to have myself covered. Now I’ve fallen down the slippery slope of buying multiples because I’m too lazy to transform my figures back and forth; let’s see how long that lasts.

 

So this Chinese eBay seller(liujunling87_5) is on the good side but appears to be dropping his prices down to like 30% off and a recent negatives citing “received wrong items.” The price does seems to good to be true. Seller does have over 2,700 feedbacks @ 99 rating.

Should I pull the trigger and get WJ Omega Supreme. I just want the Doc lol

 

Those combiner prices seem like a leading indicator of impending roguery, but everything else looks legit. If you don't need the cash for a month or so, you could gamble on getting in before it goes all the way south.

Or, if you only want Doc, here's a US seller with him solo.
