Only if the head's screws allow for the stock eyes to be removed and if someone loans me theirs since I don't own the toon head.

 

@ShadowOfSilver is there any chance of the additional parts being done in Bruticon toon colours? I'm thinking particularly the knee clips, but perhaps the Vortex parts. I assume the chest plate will pretty much match? Or is the colouring identical to Blast Off?

 

If you mean making the knee clips in a light gray plastic, sure, I can do that! The vortex parts I sell are already in a light shade of gray (which it doesn't look has changed between releases). I can't say how much the chestplate will match since I don't plan on owning Bruticon, but if it's a solid black color like the previous Blast-Off, then I'd assume it would be pretty close.

 

Thanks. @TigerBlade Is also updating his own set, and he's UK based so it might be financially sensible to get stuff from him. That said, I don't know what his full set contains, so that might mean a little from column A, a little from column B...

I've just received the toon version, Bruticon, and it comes with both heads. I haven't pulled them apart but the screws are in the same position etc.

 

Nice, that just leaves the matter of if the toon head's eyes are the same dimensions and have the same connection as the stock head's.

 

The eyes are definitely different shapes and sizes to look at, although they could be the same inside. I doubt it though. I could imagine less faceplate in the toy might look like the toon, but I suspect they fit quite snugly?

 

Oof that is a pretty big difference. I'm pretty sure I'd still need to have one in hand to make new parts for the eyes.
