made the torso. glad there's spare parts for the vfins since the gimmick is easy to fall apart and get caught in the transformation. I might keep it like this for the rest of the build. but first, spaceship. any tips on how to stop the snoop drooping like G-Fortress is a Concorde Supersonic from the 90s? it's very loose with the canopy cover.
Gundam at work! Lessons i learned from this build: - painting with cheap marker is a bad idea.... Because the paint doesnt stick so everything becomes a mess.... - i might repeat this project in the future but i have to make sure to use good paint instead of what i used for this.
huh. I think I'm sold on Core Gundam/Earthree Gundam now...welp looks like I'm gonna grab it and the gear sets!
Yeah, markers are never a substitute for paint. Plus it seems like most of your alterations changed the blue to black, so getting a high quality can of black paint should easily do those pieces.
Every time I see the Core Gundam, all I can think about is that meme with the dude looking up at a tall lady. Also, too many gunpla, not enough time. I wish I could take time off from work just to build. I mean, I could, but then work would pile up and people always decide to break or explode stuff when I'm out.
And never be afraid to make mistakes, you can always paint over them. See the pistons on the GM Sniper's thigh, and those on the runner for the Dominance. I wasn't trying to be precise because I'll go back over those areas with another color and fill it in.
So spits and giggles tonight, went looking at the knock off toystore in the local Mall for a checkers board... that's another horror story for the KO thread... but I went through Gamestop for a second and saw the Bandai Capsule Toy booth they've set up that has the Exceed Zaku Heads. One token for $3.25... and I walk away with a Char's Zaku! You're damn right I'm panel accenting it!!
Just wondering if anyone here has had experience ordering kits from HobbySearch PVC Anime Figures Store ? They seem to be the only place that I've seen the new SD Sangoku Souketsuden kits available..
Thanks for that; I'm interested in getting some more SD Kits, but they seem to be the only place I can get the latest stuff from.
Looks like the Knight Justice is a completely new kit with some more of the impressive modern engineering. So Bandai will pull either a Gouf R35 or Dom R35. Also, whenever I see the shot lancer, all I can think of is "You call that a lance? THIS is a lance."

well, i got myself the MG MSZ-006C1 for cheap from AMAZON, slow-boat-shipping from a Japanese seller. no Tracking Number provided, but it looks like i can finally begin to start expecting the damn thing, sometime between today, and the fourth of next month. Yay...
That site is legit like malfet said. Also, the SD Sangoku Soketsuden in Japan are actually exclusive to Gundam Base Tokyo which is why all the Japanese sites don't have them for sale. I was curious as to why I hadn't seem them anywhere until I learned about that. Everywhere else in the world though they should be retail kits.
transformers ja nai This is beyond a doubt the most unstable transformer I own. help me decide what to build next: Full Mechanics Barbatos Lupus Rex 1/100 Virtue/Nadaleh MG Dark Matter Exia MG Avalanche Exia HG Revive RX-78-2 Aoshima's Mechagodzilla Kiryu from Godzilla vs Mothra vs Mechagodzilla: Tokyo SOS 30 Fin Funnels (6 from Nu ver Ka, 6 from Bandai's Nu ver Ka Double Fin Funnel expansion, 6 from Hi-Nu ver Ka, and 12 from BTF's unlicensed Psychoframe Double Fin Funnel set for Nu ver Ka)
Wait, its unstable? I've been told that it's pretty solid. And how does it compare to the zeta plus? I would say go for kiryu. As far as I know, the exia and dark matter are hand grenades while the others are 1/100 and may be less fun. But I've never actually bought any of them, so dont take my words too seriously
