I sort of know what you mean, he was quite awkward looking. Which is why I really like what Perfect Effect did with their Beast Gorira but.... now I have this beauty I'm starting to wonder how a JX Op Op would look. I've already pretty much made up my mind to sell PE Mega Doragon as this feels the the definitive version.

Hey @JXF will you have Winged Dragon for sale at TF Con in DC? Ill be there and would rather buy from y'all personally instead of waiting for my showzstore order to arrive.

Since we did have a correspondence in another thread, I'll just mirror it here. There will be vendors at TFCon that will likely have Winged Dragon available for purchase. It'll more than likely cost a lot more compared to the price that you're paying for from ShowZ, since they've already imported it over. I don't think JXFigures would try to compete with vendors already carrying their product at a convention where the vendors would be. So, if you can't wait, buy it from the vendors,

 

This thing is something else to behold in person. Absolutely beautiful. I haven't had much time to pose him yet but I do notice minor chipping and scratching of the paint around seams and joints. the left shoulder that houses the dragon arm requires the arm to be maneuvered in a very particular way to avoid scratching the paint on some of the ridges. I think I'll have to get over that there will be some inevitable scratching so that I can play with this thing without going crazy. Haven't done the transformation yet but so far I am impressed with JX's first offering. I'm in.

STILL no transformed him...but have been posing him plenty and although I absolutely still love it some of the cracks are starting to show. The paint is VERY brittle and some of the tight clearances and joint means chipping it is nigh on unavoidable. Also in mine i see to have some greasy stains and overspray on his left set of wings.

That aside he looks amazing, poses brilliantly, has great articulation and the strength of (most) of his joints it's pretty unbelievable considering the weight its carrying (he's so flicking heavy!). So here are the fruits of my labour.

A real beast

 

While manipulating his leg a piece that covers a part of his right leg just slid off. Any one else have this problem? I tried superglue but it didn’t work. The metal tip on both of his pinky toes slide off easily too.

 

That might be related, at least partially, to what I saw on TransFans the other day.

Thanks for the info, I’ll have my copy early next week so it’s nice to know this in advance. Sadly not many video reviews out there...but at least Ben & Primal had no issues of parts falling off. Good to know the appropriate super glue for potential fixes too!

 

Those parts cicrcle by yellow color, try not to glue it. If it really bother you, glue little bit since it is for maintenance purpose such as replace parts, screws position etc.

 

This is what scares me and has been making me hold off on him, although it sounds like it's not something that will be fixed on future releases.

 

The only part you can superglue is the middle claw at the left knee, it doesnt fall off, but if u dun like it loose, u can superglue this part
