Hope another company gets to work on TFP soon. I was really excited about this one but I'm not going to risk 100 buck into a figure that can't be touched without falling apart.

Yeah, I was keen on the Iron Warrior figure till I started hearing horror stories about a pre-assembled figure dis-assembling itself en-route. May be exaggerated but for that price, I expected better. Ironically, selling it as a DIY kit would have resulted in a more solid figure and potentially would have been cheaper.
So I've passed and ordered APC's KO. It should be with me in a week or so. May not look quite as nice as IW's but it transforms, doesn't fall apart and was less than a third of the price.

Iron Warrior really should have sold this as a DIY kit. They may have lost some sales from folks who didn't want to build it themselves, but compared to the negative press from what they ended up shipping?

Just to clarify, those are licensed 3rd Party manufacturers. IronWarrior and APCToys brand are not, but all of these are 3rd Party.

While there’s life there’s hope. APC toys seems to be doing well, so that’s indication there’s a market for TFP. Sooner or later, and I bet sooner, we’ll get high-end nontransforming figures* and masterpieces.

*somebody should give Vientiane Toys a call. A TFP:Op by them would be incredible.

As for this, I’m holding off for a sale or for them to re-release it as a model kit. Too much Legends goodness coming out right now.

Yeah, I'd like to see a lot more TFP stuff. Right now, though, I can't wait for IW to finish their Megatron so my Optimus will have someone to hang out with. I'd like to do some photos for the reenacted scenes thread featuring the two of them.

You know, I had somehow forgotten about their Megatron. Thanks for the reminder, made my day to realize he’s coming too.

since 2017ct's been radio silence on weibo, I've been kinda worried if this line was gonna continue or not. It would be a goddamn tragedy if this Megatron doesn't even make it to production

The thing is that there were few reviews and the opinions on Prime were not that positive.
This may have resulted in low sales
To bad they missed on great designs by using cheap.materials

I've been in touch with them.
They were vacationing and then focused on the release of their Jetfire backpack kit for one of the movie Optimus figures. The TFP line is still underway. Megatron is coming in '20.
