These look great! might actually get me to pick up an Impactor! I know with how many advancements we've had in WFC over the Prime Wars trilogy, its a little snotty to complain about hollow parts on a deluxe figure who has an ab crunch, ankle tilts, and is almost pushing voyager size, but they do hurt how he looks in most open poses. I'm content ordering extra parts for this guy.

Personally i think he should have been a Voyager, but i think that would have driven the price of the two pack too high, which was the main reason we actually got to see Impactor on the market. Though if they cut out Chromar and moved him to his own box and gave both Mirage and Impactor a size upgrade, but then maybe Mirage would be too large and... I guess theres a lot that went into his size decision.

Has this company done gap fillers/upgrades and accessories before? if so, anywhere i might be able to go look at their selection? If i'm ordering theses and paying Canadian shipping i want to make the most of it by ordering more than one thing.

The hollow os worse than you can possibly imagine. >_< I love the toy, but I just can't get over how awful the hollow legs look. I can usually overlook it, but this is just unbearable. I am 110% looking forward to this set, yellow for sure.

Yes it's what makes them un-buyable imo.
They always start a new line off well & go downhill. Also they said they knew fans didn't like it & were listening. Guess not

Would you rather they make everything more expensive because you didn't like some gaps in your toys?

God damn this fandom is full of armchair engineers/businesspeople/designers pretending that Hasbro is a charity and can afford to make toys like they did 10-15 years ago while competing with markets that parents would rather buy into i.e videogames

The only time hollow parts really bothered me was with leader class generations Jetfire and the Beast Morphers Rabbit Zord. The zord shows off the hollowness when in Megazord mode, and with Jetfire, it made the toy feel cheap. Other than those 2 instances, I easily look past em.

It's also full of backseat apologists who can't take any criticism of their beloved corporate gods too...

    ;)

Anyway, in interested in this set. Where can we get them?

Rationalising a business decision and liking it are two different things. You're allowed to not like and question why a figure didn't come with X accessory or whatever gap filled in, but don't call me a corporate apologist for trying to look at a situation from multiple angles

Wasn't that the whole purpose of the price increase?

Honestly, people bitching about WFC makes me feel good. Some people think that entire lines are rendered worthless due to wfc and now they are complaining because hallowness? THEY ARE TOYS! If the problem was stuff is getting more and more hollow fine but omg you people are getting unreasonable..

It's funny to have the corporate apologists (now that's a funny term) that try to excuse a company that has doubled the prices of figures, but somehow, a few pennies' worth of plastic to close the gaps is too much to ask.

Personally, I was so pleased to get Optimus and see that he was virtually gap free, I was hoping to the return of earlier lines that barely had any, compared to the last several years that the toys had lost so much quality that many figures wouldn't stand up to children playing with them. (Toys.. right?)

So I went full in with Siege and then the following figures had more and more gaps again.. at least, the plastic quality has been maintained so far, so it's not all bad.

But seriously, Ultra Magnus for example is such a great figure, but the empty sockets just looked wrong... just bad. I cracked and got the gap fill pieces from a 3rd party and all is good with the world as he looks 10x better, but still.. a 70$ (CAN) figures that I had to buy a 15$ kit for? seriously Hasbro, shame on you for saving yourself a few pennies, making your buyers having to spent to correct faults that shouldn't be.

No way I even considered getting the Galaxy Prime with even worse emptiness in almost every part of the armour.

I've had to get multiple kits now for the various Siege figures, all due to flaws that they cannot have not be aware of, and they are all so much better for it, but seriously, these are expensive enough to end up spending more for the lacks from Hasbro. Should they have done test runs for review, these are all the common main complaint from everyone.

Want to argue it? Go ahead and look petty about it, as there is no way that if you were given two of the same figure, one with all the gaps, and one with well done fillers, that you'd prefer the one with all the gaps.

This is getting me very close to the end of my purchases from Hasbro.

The worst part is the hollowness seems to be more about weight savings than cost savings. Hasbro's been focused on shaving off the weight of figures as much as possible to save on shipping costs, to the point that there's a space large enough to be an echo chamber in some figures.

These fillers look really quite good for the character, and giving you an option of color is even better. You can see in the last photo that it sits just inside flush, the ones sticking out are probably prototypes they don't want to get jammed or broken inside.
