This targetmaster was not designed to transform how they describe in the manual. @Paik4Life got me thinking when i watched his live stream video - he talks about a tab and hole on opposite arms, and the tm just doesnt seem to fit right transformed how they say to. This works though, and uses all the tabs -

 

I'm just kidding, in reality I enjoy the hipster cred of loving a third tier character!

The movie cast is really looking nice! Now we just need some modern Sharkticons and Allicons in the right scale...

 

I dunno. They felt that Seaspray was worth designing a whole new figure for and Skyfire was worth a second slightly different deco and neither of them was even in the movie.
XTB’s giving Trailbreaker two seperate decos, their Windcharger supposedly got three deco’s (though they all seem to consist of random colour mismatches) and Wheelie got three seperate uogrades and tweaks.
We’ve seen Takara release characters like Exhaust and Road Rage to milk a little more off an existing mould and I won’t even go into how much MMC tries to squeeze out of every single design.
If FansToys think they can sell a slightly different deco, they’ll do it faster than Blurr talks. No matter what dalianjj may have posted here.

 

Here's the ironic part. A figure must sell well enough for the company to consider recolor.

So, if everyone skips blu-purple Jabber, there will be no blue Jabber. But if they don't, there will be.

I interpret dalianjj's comment as that FansToys don't think it'll sell well enough for a recolor. Even Galvatron took two years.

 

Just came home to this purple bar steward.

 

And we still haven't gotten a toy color Willis or green medic Rouge, though never announced.

Depends on sales I guess, cause Caesium X never got to see the light.

 

I am eager to see what your feelings are on this figure As I feel as tho you and I have very similar tastes.

Okay I’m considering getting him. I need a TL;DR, as someone who loves fun complex transformations (for example: quietus, TE Optimus, UT Bayverse) without thinking, is this figure right for me? Because I love how it looks in both modes and I’m real interested in a MP blurr.

 

Well that's all I needed to see, I'll wait on the repaint version.

 

I think ppl are confusingly putting Galvatron and Blurr into the same popularity bracket. I was told recently FT have the next 2 years booked solid at the factory. There's no possibikty of a repaint anytime before then so if you can wait at least 2 years on a feint hope a c-lister gets a repaint, I wish you luck  

By then there'll most likely be a newer design by someone anyways.

 

Well regardless of popularity if there is money to be made any company would want to at least explore that option. I don't know anything about factory stuff, but if there is a will there's a way. Well if I'm waiting 2-3 years later and a better design comes out so be it.

Point being that even though it was stated no repaints doesn't mean never in this case, could be they want the current product to sell, or they don't know what future plans will be, or the guys word is no good.

 

But also keep in mind he said that about Sovereign 3 years ago, there will probably be a repaint of Jabber but not any time soon

 

History dictates there's a slim chance (even though he's said multiple times there won't be). But it'd be in a few years when there's a gap in the production line up, IF there's a want then.

Got Jabber today and some thoughts.

1. It's freaking purple! Haha it really is. I looked at it for a minute or so in bright natural light, even asked my wife. It's metallic purple guys.
It's more blue in the shadows though.
2. It's beautiful! I don't mind the colour at all. Maybe if they did the blue more like XTB Andras it would be even better, but I understand dalianjj his statement it would look boring if it's like the proto photos.
3. It's heavy and well build like we use to from FT.
4. Opened the shins for possible cracks and inspect the bot. No cracks, stressmarks at all.

I'm happy!

When i saw Paik mention that, this is exactly what i thought of. Imo this looks better too.
When i get mine this is how it will be.

 

Anyone else feel that the colour they've gone for with Jabber may have been perfect for the new Sovereign?

I really don't understand his point about it looking 'boring'. It's the original cartoon colour scheme. Megatron isn't exactly dressed for mardi gras, but I don't want a pink repaint.
