Finally got mine made a couple paint adjustments. Some are very subtle.

There are going to be some major changes to that display soon if I can ever find more free time.

 

I’m 99.9% sure, but this guy only has side to side ankle tilt right? There’s no sneaky transformation joint or anything that gives him a bit of front/back?

Tempted either way - the guy looks amazing.

Really on the fence about this guy vs waiting for MS. For those of you who have him in hand, does he feel too thin in the torso?
I'm not about having a paper thin Megs. He needs to be a thicc boi.

 

Without transforming him, which I haven't had time yet, I didn't think he was bad at all. I bought it mostly for the Lincoln chair and throne accessories and I will use the MS version for my main display.

Does this guy scale with MFT Seekers? He looks awesome but I need him to fit into my MFT display alongside my OS Jinbao Devy.

 

I haven't seen him next to MFT seekers but he was shown next to MFT Megatroun and is about half a head shorter than him but a little taller than MST Optimus. That would make him probably just a little shorter than a MFT seeker, so no, I wouldn't say he scales with them. But I won't be able to say for sure until mine arrives (ordered the toy version so it's gonna' be a while) or until somebody else takes a comparison pic.

 

In this post by @ph4zed there's a group shot that includes NA Megatron with a MFT Seeker (along with a DX9 Seeker too).

 

Not that I can tell. The toe/foot rotates as one piece side to side.

 

He should be slightly taller than the MFT seekers. I would imagine both MST and NewAge’s new seekers will be close to that size.

Any idea if New Age is planning to release a companion Optimus Prime, or is there already too many legends Optimus Prime figures out there? I just want my a pairing of Optimus Prime and Megs...

 

Always hard to tell for certain due to camera angle and everything but it looks like Sunstorm there is ever so slightly taller than NA Megatron. Closer than I thought it'd be though.

I think I might replace MFT Megs with NA and just get creative with the posing to hide the height discrepancy.

Nothing announced but it's Optimus Prime. They're going to do him. Especially since there isn't one that scales with their Megaton now. Kinda wonder if they made him the size they did so that we'd want to buy their Optimus instead of sticking with DX9 or MST.

DX9 Dutch did complete the Newage figures but if Newage brings out their own Optimus Prime and his legs don't pop off when transforming I'm switching. Of course Newage will then bring out the Evil Optimus, SG Optimus, White Optimus etc etc. When I got DX9 Phonas I did think about the fact that Newage might bring out an Optimus and his recolors but as I'm a sucker for the SG look of Optimus I bought him. Think that my nephew will like them.

But will Newage do the Dinobots? Should I try to get DX9 Rager to complete my Dinobots set that go well with the Newage figures or just wait?

 

I'm in the same situation but I decided to go for the DX9 Dino's boxset anyway, they're really nice together and it seems like the Optimus tease earlier this year might hint at a Newage version? My DX9 OP is so maddening to pose!!
