    A cartoon styled G1 Thunder Clash would be so cool. Not because I’m a toon nut, but having him fit alongside the other G1 dudes would be so cool.

    Dude, that's exactly what I had in mind when I said I'd wait for someone else to do it. Fanshobby is cool and all but they're doing their own thing and a "cartoon" style Thunderclash would do something different that the original didn't do...which is to compliment an already existing line with a specific established look.

    It just occurred to me we could still get a Hyperdrive look out of this figure if FH do a retool of their Godbomber for it.

    Such a waste that the big cannons can't be wielded fusion cannon-style, like the idw comics. It attaches to the inner side of the forearms for tower mode, but why not make connections for outer side of the forearms too?

    I got to hand it to them for finding a way to retool Thunderclash from PM Optimus Prime/Ginrai in a way that still evokes the character. It's making me wish that we'll get a Machine Wars Optimus Prime repaint even more. Heck they can also go for a Universe Menesor deco if they wanted to.
