'07 - 6/10 - Not a bad movie, a fun one, but still a dumb Michael Bay Summer blockbuster. A lot of the 'Cons got to do stuff other than dying (particularly Barricade, Frenzy, and Blackout).

RotF - 4/10 - By all metrics, this is a shit movie, and completely looks like it was thrown together, because it was. But it had some memorable setpieces and some novel robot designs, so that elevates it in my mind.

DotM - 3/10 - This totally turned me off watching any more of these films. I did not like the dark tone, and it was blatant there was no interest in continuity between the films.

To put these score in context, most low budget horror films sit at 2/10 or lower, most Studio Ghibli films sit at 8/10 or above for me

‘07 - 8.5/10 - It’s a fun movie and a decent start to the original trilogy. The whole Bumblebee peeing on Simmons scene was funny when I first saw the film at 10 years old but now it’s just ridiculous. The CGI is absolutely amazing, and even 12 years later, it still baffles me how Transformers lost the VFX Oscar to The Golden Compass.

ROTF - 8/10 - I realize this might be an unpopular rating for what is the most infamous Transformers movie. There were some pretty stupid decisions made in this film (seriously, they gave Devastator a pair of balls? And the idea of Megatron being subservient to someone in a sequel to the film where he was the leader is just ridiculous). Tony Todd voicing the Fallen was a major plus for the movie. Admittedly, I’m an easily entertained person which is why my raising is so high.

DOTM - 9/10 - This is my favorite out of all of the movies. I like the dark and gritty tone. And I enjoyed the whole “We went to the moon because of an alien ship” plot. That was my favorite thing of the original trilogy: The Transformers being connected to earths history was an interesting concept. It’s too bad it was beaten like a dead horse in the Wahlberg movies. I’m not a fan of how Shockwave had such a limited role. He had an awesome design but was severely underused.

Added bonus ratings just because everyone else has:

AOE and TLK - 4/10 - I’m putting these both together because they’re my least favorite movies in the series. I liked Wahlberg and the Cade Yeager character. But the oversimplification of the designs, the lackluster CGI, and the overall stories in these films was just terrible. As I said in my DOTM rating, they really beat the “Transformers have been here forever and influenced earth’s history” theme like a dead horse, especially in TLK. And while I’m a Bayformer fanboy, I have to agree that the Bay films should’ve ended after DOTM.

Bumblebee - 5/10 - It’s great that people loved this film. I went in wanting to love it also. If it hadn’t been for the Cybertron scenes, I really think this movie would’ve been tossed to the wayside by the Transformers fanbase. Seriously, if you watch the movie as it was originally shot without those scenes, it’s pretty boring and uninteresting. I like Charlie, but they really took the human drama in this film and dialed it up to an 11. Dropkick and Shatter (off topic but I loved their designs. It was nice that they didn’t abandon the Bayformer aesthetic but I fully expect them to in the future) really didn’t come into play until that last 40 minutes of the movie. Like I said, it’s a good movie but I really think it got overhyped just because of the Cybertron scenes.

I agree with your ratings. The CGI in AoE and TLK was disappointing. I did like AoE otherwise, though, because it featured more Prime and Transformer screen time.

Transformers (2007) - 7/10. It takes a while for the plot to get going, but when the movie isn't dragging its feet, the buildup is good, and once the Autobots arrive, it's a memorable and mostly enjoyable rush. Some of the humans are annoying (Sam is shallow and Simmons is a creep) and the Decepticons are woefully underdeveloped, but Mikaela, Epps, Lennox, and even the two hackers (relevance to the plot notwithstanding) are mostly fairly likable, Optimus Prime is more of the idealist who is willing to fight for his beliefs than what he becomes in the sequels, Bumblebee is established as the sassy and playful, yet loyal and selfless character that has become my personal favorite character in Transformers, and for what screentime they have, Ironhide, Ratchet, and Jazz are fun to watch and make for a great starting Autobot crew. All-in-all, a genuinely decent (or at least okay) set-up for a film franchise.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen - 3/10. I do have a nostalgic attachment to this movie, as it was the first Transformers film I saw in theaters. However, it's filled with unfunny and often blatantly offensive comic relief that serves only to pad out the movie. Iconic villains like Devastator are reduced to a joke, most of the new Transformers introduced are nonentities, and the big bad of the film is dispatched with ease in a scene that presents Optimus as a brutal pragmatist at best. The film spends most of it's runtime on unnecessary subplots like Sam going to college, and I can count the number of characters who remain likable and don't feel like they're wasting my time on the fingers of one hand. Good moments are fewer and further in between than the first film, but they are there. As a sequel, it squanders all of its potential, and as a standalone film, it is a chore to sit through.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon - 5/10 On the one hand, the unnecessary subplots yield one or two jokes that made me chuckle a bit, the story feels like it gets going sooner, and there's thankfully less unfunny comic relief. The action scenes are truly spectacular, some moments are genuinely emotional, and Sentinel Prime is a genuinely interesting twist antagonist. However, Optimus Prime is truly cemented as the hypocritical maniac who will coldly execute a surrendering enemy then lecture the audience about peace and freedom, the four most iconic and beloved villains in the franchise are treated as disposable and dispatched too easily, and none of the humans are all that interesting. I used to really love this film (just look at my username), but after eight years, it just doesn't seem that good anymore. But that's nothing compared to how I feel about Age of Extinction.

EDIT: Since everyone else has felt compelled to share...
Transformers: Age of Extinction - 1/10. Dear God, I find this movie despicable. None of the new human protagonists were endearing. Cade was a selfish control-freak towards his supposed loved ones, Shane was (and I don't care about the Romeo and Juliet BS) is a miserable coward trying to defend his relationship with a teenager, and Tessa was The Load constantly needing to be rescued. The nicest thing I can say about the Autobots is that at least Bumblebee wasn't actively trying to kill his teammates. Optimus Prime constantly screams "I'll kill you!" and his character arc doesn't really call into question his morally reprehensible behavior, the new Autobots are all itching to kill to the point where they'll gladly threaten each other, and the massively hyped Dinobots have no character and don't show up until near the end. The villains are kind of interesting, but Joshua Joyce doesn't really earn a redemption and Galvatron barely shows up. There are interesting story ideas buried in this movie, but a lot of them contradict the previous films and the whole is so unpleasant and miserable that it's just not worth the bother to sit through it for me.

Transformers: The Last Knight - 5/10
This film goes beyond the usual stupidity into full-blown insanity, and it is all the more enjoyable for it. The "secret history of Transformers" is ridiculous, but so silly I kind of enjoy it. Cade is still a jerk, but he gets called out on it. The new human characters like Izabella and Sir Edmund Burton are fun, and I feel that the former should have been the new main human protagonist in this movie. The Autobots' bloodthirstiness is toned down (I mean, they're not threatening to kill each other), and I did actually feel genuine emotion when Bumblebee got his voice back and talked Optimus back to his senses. The threat of Cybertron constantly hung over the movie as well, and Unicron had some potential. However, the Nemesis Prime subplot which was the most interesting thing about the movie barely factored into anything, the Creators subplot didn't really get resolved beyond Quintessa showing up, the Decepticons, despite having what could have been an interesting new crew, were superfluous to the whole plot, and the story is a mess. This film is the most enjoyable bonkers of the franchise to me, and I'm glad for it to be the end of Michael Bay's Transformers universe.

Bumblebee (2018) - Either 9/10 or 10/10. Objectively speaking, it's not the most flawless or smoothly polished film out there. The character of Memo is slightly superfluous. However, that is the harshest criticism I can level against it. Charlie has lost her father and, unlike the rest of her family, has not moved on, while Bumblebee loses his voice and his memory. Both characters are trying to rebuild their selves after suffering horrible tragedies through trying to help each other, and both characters' stories benefit from the other's involvement. Shatter and Dropkick clearly establish defined personalities as well as cement themselves as the clear villains. John Cena is fun to watch in his role, and Charlie's family feel like real people who are trying to help, but don't always get it right. The Cybertron scene is pure fan wish fulfillment, but it works as a good action scene that establishes the premise without monologuing at the audience. The action is exciting while still being easy to follow, the tone is more family friendly, and the story is more focused. Most importantly of all, it really does feel like this movie was made by someone who likes Transformers and this movie feels like how a live-action adaptation of Transformers should be done.

    2007: 8/10 - A good modern day take.
ROTF: 4/10 - So much wasted potential.
DOTM: - 6/10 - An improvement, but still flawed.

07 - 5/10 - Great Starting point for the bayverse. But what lacked in my opinion was how poorly they handled the cons in terms of character development. And how the writers handled Megatron. The good I could say, The writing was amazing for the autobots characterization, And the other characters among the line. But as said they didn't do much for the cons. And to me Megatron felt kinda over-hyped just to be killed. In the end, The film was great but had some errors that's for sure. As for the music, Steve was amazing at what he brought to bayverse shouldn't go unnoticed.
ROTF - 8/10 - Revenge was good, I enjoyed it. But my only issue was really how they handled The Fallen. Great voice actor, Amazing design. But lacked in the writing department. Overall I enjoyed the film for what it is. To me this film felt more a movie for Megatron as in terms of a villain. He stood out a lot more and shown his leadership at time's. So that was nice to see Megatron getting more screentime compared to 07's film. Music wise, The music was freaking astonishing by far 'Forest Battle' 'Diving For Megatron' and 'I Claim Your Sun' was by far my most favorites. Steve really knew how to bring more decepticon theme's among the film.
DOTM - 10/10 - DOTM had a new change of pace. A villain I never expected. A Prime. If I had be completely honest, Sentinel Prime was the true empathy of what Nemesis Prime should've been. The writing was wonderful in my eyes and seeing how much darker toned it became really had me enjoy this film a hella lot more. Megatron could've done more, But it was understandable of why he didn't do as much. Considering of his injury or what not. DOTM did redeem Optimus having Prime have a lot more screentime and quite enjoyable at that. And as of the music, Steve really outdone himself, He really went all out. He never disappoints.

Transformers 3/10 - Sam, his mom and Simmons ruins every scene they're in for me
Revenge of the Fallen 2/10 - Again, the same three plus Sam's roommate ruin every scene
Dark of the Moon 5/10 - The Transformers get more screen time, but once again Sam and all comic relief human need to shot into the sun
Age of Extinction 5/10 - We finally get some good actors, even if their dialog is about as deep as a 70s sitcom.
The Last Knight 2/10 - FFS. I feel bad every time I hear Anthony Hopkins on screen. Either his character has dementia or he was even more baffled by the lines he was reading than the dumb stubbies who wrote the lines. There's actually a good story buried here for the first time since DOTM, but it's buried in more 70s sitcom cheese and thirteen other random movie scripts. It gets an extra point because Marky Mark is actually useful in the first half of the movie as Autobot den mother.
Bumblebee 7/10 - Low key action mixed with John Hughes/Spielberg 80s movie style nostalgia. I'll take The Goonies over an increasingly more stoned version of Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

TF07: 8/10 Still remember first time I saw it and I was like ''bro this is some good s**t'' but when I rewatched it again, I saw Megatron was more of a moron.
ROTF: 9/10 I really loved the fight in the forest when it was Optimus alone vs Megatron, Starscream and Grindor, I mean like Optimus could really have won and here's why: 1. His utmost priority was protecting Sam not them but then again, the decepticons priority was also capturing Sam not Optimus but since Optimus was literally destroying them, they had to go all out. 2. Plot, let's admit it they only won because it wasn't the plan to let Megatron get killed so soon, plus even if Optimus couldn't kill him off, reinforcements came but they retreated.
DOTM: 8/10 Sentinel Prime saved the movie let's be honest. If only if Sentinel wasn't on the movie and it was more focused on Sam (as it was in the start which was really f****ng boring) then I would put about 2/10 at most.
AOE: 7/10 I like the concept of the 3 legendary warriors but the start was a bit meh with all the special force and new technology s**t and with those ''artifical organism'' yeh aight we all understand. But what I also like is the special scenes espically when Crosshair jumped out of the war ship.
TLK: 6/10 Saw a lot of plot holes but it was enjoyable.
