but no matter how you cut it, that possibility is slim. takara is doing them in part because hasbro had no intentions of doing them, plus these will not fit into regular hasbro price points. if hasbro is going to release seacons domestically one of 3 things will happen
    1. they will be new molds designed with hasbros price points in mind
    2. they will be these molds with no accesssories except for what is absolutely necessary for combined mode
    3. they will be identical to the takara releases and cost more than standard retail based on hasbros deluxe and voyager price points

and if 2 or 3 happen itll likely be years off like shuttle blast off was. also takara has done lg-ex characters with a western fiction version as well, titans return black convoy/car robots black convoy/rid 2001 scourge and deadlock (a western originated character) that hasbro didnt do

It won´t happen for a simple reason. Production costs per unit. A single Seacon figure is probably far more expensive then your regular delux retail figure when it comes to his production costs.

For example Gulf. His entire altmode head is painted, plus additional paint on other parts in both modes. This would mean, if Hasbro would try to release them for cheaper, to just cut some of the paint apps and make the figures look unfinished. Also most of the Seacons have more weapons and accesories then your regular figure, which means for example Hasbro has to leave the parts that form the sword out, or the additional guns. Which would result in a unfinished figure, again.

Or maybe just wait and see what happens when they actually release, since there will likely be more available then.

    Let's be clear. There's always a possibility.

That doesn't mean this is even a little bit likely. The difference you're stating is a true and accurate one. But I don't think it means anywhere near as much as you seem to.

The last two are still not up on HasbroPulse. Maybe they will only go up in November?

There is a fourth way. Hasbro could go with an online exclusive Platinum box set release.

But I have a feeling that "option 1" would be the most likely. With the focus now on "as G1 as possible until it hurts", I can easily see Hasbro revisiting the combiners again, this time in ultra G1 styling - and the Seacons would probably be first on the agenda.

I would highly advise against anyone waiting until November to find out. With Takara's preorder windows closing on the 31st, anyone waiting for that will be screwed if it doesn't happen. it's one thing to miss out on a figure here or there, but to miss out on just the last pieces of a set like this would be irritating, especially once the eBay prices jump.

I can't even imagine how that would work, given past Seacons were held to the Takara pre-order deadline, which is before November starts.

How is your "4" different than the previous person's "3"?

When have there been KO's of exclusive figs? Retail Hasbro I see plenty, but not Exclusives. I guess Brainstorm and Groove sort of count, but- *cut out!*

*corrected by @tigatron2002 for only Brainstorm was a Walgreens exclusive. .
Don't risk it, my amigo! Go to one of the places that has them and hope you ensure your purchase!
G1 styling combiners sound interesting, but I pretty happy with the combiner I do got..... Unless they can give us the G2 combiners we missed out on.

It's only October 16th. I see no risk in waiting another week.

But, yes, waiting until November is a recipe for failing to get these guys at all.

Well...you say that now. But then, Solar Storm Grappel was fine until now, too.

O.O It's only the 16th?? Feels so much later than that...
I never owned any Grappel, so HA!!!

Really, it depends on how I like how they look. With any luck, they'll follow Hoist and Cliffhanger and I won't have interest in them, lol. But knowing my luck, I'd buy the entire series again....
Thanks for the correction. Torally thought it was walgreens, lol.

I'm going to wait another week for Hasbro Pulse to post the last two. It would be a very bad decision not to put up the last two, especially considering that it would really erode the confidence of customers who use the service.

I can guarantee that they would have a lot of people who would not renew their membership next year if they couldn't handle something as simple as this

For me, the question of whether or not to renew Pulse Premium (that is, the membership) is secondary. For items like this, it sounds like I'd be getting free shipping even without it.

But for Hasbro Pulse to offer up the first four members of a well-known six-member team, and then not to offer the last two? I'd pretty much stop using the site altogether if they drop the ball on that.

I mean after the cassette fuckup, the zetar/nightbird fuckups, and the unicron fake out? You don't need a crystal ball to see that they will fuck this up too... Pulse can suck a bag of doubledealer dickbirds
