All the in hand pics of Autobot Impactor have me super torn on which version I want now. I originally was going to pass on the character all together but was sold when I saw the IDW head on the Decepticon version. Now seeing how good the Autobot version looks, I might have to get both. 

 

..... How odd. Oh well, still would have loved that IDW head but glad to have the figure nonetheless (juuust couldn't afford MMC's Spartan right now ).

 

Luckily I have Misfire. But Blowpipe also didn't show up in any of my local stores. As well as the entire first wave.

 

Am I the only one likes the mainline retail head on Impactor?

I can imagine someone asking him " Howd you get those scars, tough guy? Eating "pineapple"?

Thingiverse has a free gap filler for him as well. Look, I'm just nitpicking really, it's a handsome bonce, just not the angry broody one I came to love from IDW.

Really confused by the autobot impactor’s head, he has no mouth!

 

The Chosen Prime had a limited (?) stock that sold out by the next day. That's all I've seen...

How is this thing supposed to get all of us all the way to Cybertron?

 

I have to say that Transformers, I think, is the only toy line that I enjoy/enjoyed in which I like the "hero" characters just as much as the villain characters. With old school Star Wars, I always thought the Empire had the better look and aesthetics, same with GI Joe vs Cobra or TMNT. I'd somehow end up with like 2-1 or worse odds for my "Good guys." Oddly enough with the Transformers Universe, I'm closer to 1-1 or even 1.5-1 in favor of the Autobots. Anyone else have this issue?

Sorry for the digression. It was probably inspired by Impactor who just arrived via Hasbro Pulse.

I'm sure somebody's done one better, but here's my Weaponizer combiner:

Originally, I had Six-Gun's arms serve as an extra pair of arms for the combiner, but since they looked clunky and lacked articulation, I moved them to his back to serve as a jetpack. I really like how I used Brunt's upper legs and Six-Gun's black guns as a giant claw.

 

You're not alone. I think the blocky shapes of it look better with the rest of him.

 

I think you are spot on. The photos at least with the IDW Impactor head make it seem like his noggin is just a little too small for his body. UK Impactor gives him a beefier head complete with the disappointed father scowl.

 

got in the Amazon 3pack yesterday...did not expect Aragon to be broken apart instead of packaged in bot-mode...

this is my first look at Mirage...interesting he comes with Earthian numbering and lettering (I am assuming the regular single pack has pure Cybertronian lettering)...I like Impactor but wish this one were another figure as they are very similar looking...

I can easily see Impactor repurposed as Gutcruncher in the future (based on his
'Bot head and alt mode)...
