Word. I remember seeing their Beachcomber and thinking it was looked like garbage. Then I bought Cyclonus on a whim and something clicked. Now I have like 75% of their stuff - still haven't pulled the trigger on Beach and Seaspray though.

I've only got a few of theirs but they include my favorite Legends figure, which is MST Trailbreaker. Got him, Hoist, Seaspray, Beachcomber, and I just got their Huffer. MST isn't exactly my scale preference, though - I prefer carbots smaller than they make them and the seeker and larger bots to be bigger than they make them. There's just not a broad enough size range in their line for my taste. I do have the MFT KOs of their Blaster, Inferno, and Grapple, though, and they're great figures too.

Huffer was surprisingly cool for me for such a simple looking design. I think their only misstep has been the carbots - ugly head sculpt and the size is off for me too. I prefer Newage for the carbots so far. Blaster and Trailbreaker are also ace.

I have both Beachcomber and Seaspray. IMO Seaspray is definitely better in both mods, but Beachcomber is awesome in robot mode. I don't usually have these two guys in alt mode so the buggy is no biggie for m.

I'm a huge Beachcomber fan, so I really only want him. I have the Titans Return Seaspray, and although it doesn't match the scale of most of my legends, it's still a nice toy and I don't see how the MST could be much better. If the set was like $20, I'd jump on it, but it has priced me out thus far.

Makes sense. It's what? $40 for the set I think? That's a bit pricey for what you get. I love them, but yeah, Beachcomber's alt is trash. And MST's wheels are kinda' crap anyway - they could really use some silver for their rims. For Beachcomber, that's unfortunate because the wheels are very prevalent on his shoulders in bot mode.

I've said it before, if Magic Square would only incorporate the Newage style of wheels instead of the cast-off eyes of sock puppet monkeys...

Beachcomber is a great character. My Bass Player is a genuine hippie and he gravitated towards that MS Beachcomber figure on my Shelf the first time he saw him, lol.

can't argue with that, Trailbreaker became a surprise favourite as well.

really awful sculpts on the Lambros. their size though is a YMMV thing. i can't recall how many like their size, but I'm one of those that like, and think that their size is just right with the bigger legends, which is the bulk of my lineup.

oh man you definitely have to snag these guys whenever you get a chance. i would look from a far at @Snaku's desk and wish i had them. but i wasnt that hot on them or any MS bots before especially for list price. but i picked these 2 up for a sweet price when GCI was trying to escape terminal velocity awhile back.

i could not be happier to own these as they are some cool little bots. i will definitely welcome an update in size like their cosmos. but if that never happens i am happy with them just the way they are.

i see them pop up from time to time in the forsale section so they are around pretty cheap. that is if you are looking to save like the rest of us. i would say the going rate would be 30 bucks for the pair when it is all said and done. i also think that is a fair market price especially for what you get.

I'll triple that. I hesitated a long time too but eventually caved. I think I got my pair for $33 and yeah, it was kind of a bitter pill to swallow, but ultimately I was pretty happy to have them in-hand. I still think they are overpriced in the same sense that I think most New Age bots are overpriced, but "worth it" in the same sense of once you have them you're like "yeah I'm glad I picked them up." I think I have the same MS bots as @Snaku too - Huffer, the Beach Boys, Trailbreaker (I don't have Hoist though/yet). (I also have MS Prime mostly because I wanted to check him out, but I still prefer HS Prime). So yeah I'm not a big MS fan generally, but they have their moments and their minibots fit the bill for integration into a Legends+ collection very well IMHO.
