Hey, peeps!

Whenever I sell a bot or toy on forums I usually (not every time) try and include a doodle. Recently, I've gotten the itch to try and improve upon the little Post It Note sketches. So at my family and friends urging I signed up to Instagram and thought I'd share here also in case anyone else appreciated my style (constantly evolving).

For your marker drawings, I think you should go darker with your shading to increase the contrast.

Here's a commission I just finished of Devs.

 

You're welcome. Some shades will stand out more if you don't overlap them, sometimes if you overlap, the shade will mix with the bottom color and become lighter therefore reducing contrast. Sometimes it's good, sometimes not.

What markers and paper are you using?

 

For these it's mostly card stock and a mix of Prismas/Copics/randoms with Staedtler line pens.
