The only 3P MPs I own are Downbeat and the various Diaclone repaints.

Other than that, I only get CHUG.. and lately, it’s only certain characters or obscure (ie post 1987) characters.

I wish MMC would do the other Vehicons. Or if someone would do a Marvel Straxus.

Yeah. MMC isn't stopping anytime soon. Their repaints aren't as noticed because they're not strictly 84-87 cast members.

 

Threads like this one always show up as a precursor to a TFcon! Companies have stopped information sharing until they have a more finished product due to fear of competition. Companies like Maketoys and Dx9 may really be gone, but i think the slowing of 3rd party companies is because they're playing the sustainability i.e slow and steady game.

 

Isn't there that one company that's re-doing all the FE figures for TF Prime Arcee?

 

Gee, so long as you're not conflating the narrow niche of 'Shit You Care About' as if it's the entire hobby that everyone agrees upon I'm sure this will be a fruitful conversation all around.

 

I only buy TT and the occasional kick-ass FT release (namely, Stunticons/Aerialbots, ALL IN!).

Yup. There are no 3P companies left, except for all those other 3P companies you mentioned as and the new ones coming in. The only way retailers will survive is eating their elderly and sacrificing their children and the children of others to Hastur, the King In Yellow, clearly.

 

This is only bait thread. For all of you who might be uninformed there are massive protests happening in China which might be affecting 3rd pty companies (that are in China) in some unknown way (maybe they are also protesting alongside their countrymen). So lets just keep our jets cooled off and wait and see what happens.

 

Are you kidding me? Threads like this are just fodder for me to make passive aggressive jokes at the expense of others. If I don't have these I start randomly snarking at my friends and family, leaving nothing but pain and desolation around me and a feeling of existential dread inside that I will in fact die alone and there will be nothing at the end but a yawning, infinite void awaiting me.

I need these threads. Don't take these away from me.

Or at least give me a 3P MP Monstructor. That'd be cool, too.
